I might, just maybe, quite possibly..... still be a Bears fan. That defense is reeling me back in! Trade up for Biscuit still pisses me off - at first thought the Mack trade was too steep a price and validated my move off the reservation. Still have issues with many of the moves but you can still criticize from a fan perspective. I reached max apathy after Mitchell - would rather mow the yard than watch the Bears. Now I am looking forward to when they are on live. I'm back baby!

Mark this post b/c I think there is a path to them sucking pretty hard in three years with too much $$ tied up.

When you have an elite defense, anything is possible.

I think the Bears have the most ground to gain between the three. Trubisky and the offense is young and they're getting better. The defense is just ridiculous.

The Rams are an offensive juggernaut, but a lot of their games have been really close.

The Saints, I think you just gotta hope they cool off. I don't think anyone beats them right now.

I could see the Bears upending the Rams in LA, but unless the Saints lose steam, they may be enroute to a Super Bowl crown.

Sucks that the Bears D will have to play in perfect offensive weather to get to the Super Bowl. Had they made just one more play vs GB, MIA and NE, then those high powered O's would be playing @ Soldier Field in January and then it's a WHOLE nother scenario.

1. Shame on you. When the Bears suck, you throw on your Payton or Butkus jersey and head to the bar with your head held high and remind everyone... GSH had to lend that buster Curly Lamboi $200 to join the league WE started.

2. I agree about Mr. Biscuits. I'd rather of had Watson and my draft picks or called 49ers bluff and possibly ended up with Mitchell anyways. BUT... dude's taken some nice steps and he's in position to take the next.

3. Mack? They stole him at 2x the price.

4. IF they suck in 3 years after winning a SB, bring on the suck. Hawks can suck for 5 more years and no one will care. Bulls sucked a decade after Jordan... No one cared.

Give me a title and I'll forget all the bad that follows.

Twenty plus years of sucking largely at their own hand plus a bunch of NFL kneeling BS made it pretty easy to turn off Sundays.

Agree that Bisquick is making some nice progress - still not worth the move IMO but might be a keeper. Mack - initially thought they paid too much but changed my mind in his first game. Changes the entire defense overnight - probably worth every penny but it will impact ability to sign supporting cast in the not too distant future. With no early draft picks - good luck keeping salaries down.

Nobody cares about the Blackhawks outside of Chicago. Or the Bulls for that matter since Jordan left. The only sport I care less about than NBA is NHL. Bears are the only Chicago team I like(d) - the rest can pound sand.

If we lose this game, I officially hate Harrison Smith's guts.

Bears should still win. Even without Trubisky, the Lions will be without Kerryon Johnson and Marvin Jones.

They really shouldn't need a big offensive day to beat Detroit. Mack and co. should feast on Thanksgiving and win a low-scoring affair. Daniel isn't going to do anything special, but he knows the offense like the back of his hand and we should feed Howard in this game, against a very weak run defense.

I don’t really want to read through this thread to figure it out since I have zero interest in the Bears. However, how has Harry been doing? Any noticeable improvements to the OL this year? Haven’t watched a game besides when they smoked my Lions. Always fun to be a Detroit fan.

I'd say with the patchwork line they have he has been doing pretty good.. Whitehair actually looks like a center from time to time, and Daniels has filled in nicely for Kyle Long.

Make no mistake folks.

This defense is the f*cking TRUTH.

Most Bears fans were ready to chalk this up as an L after the Giants fiasco. This defense has elite playmakers at EVERY SINGLE LEVEL.

Amazing, considering Trubisky played like utter garbage (I think his shoulder is worse than most people perceived it to be. He was off all night with his accuracy). The D carried a terrible offense over the finish line against arguably the best team in the league.

This is the second coming of the '84 Bears.

Fun game to watch... I know I'm in the super minority here but I like ugly defensive battles a bit more than the pin ball 45-43 games...

You are obviously a man who doesn't grow a beard to "appear" manly. You can also change your own flat without googling it on your tablet. Most importantly you wear pants that loosely touch your shoes, covering your entire ankles.

God bless grown azz, real men and God bless football games played in freezing weather where one team is held under 10 points and gives up a safety.

And one touchdown scored all game, a fat guy TD at that

The Bears clinch the division by defeating Erin and the Packers, while also effectively eliminating them from playoff contention.

It doesn't get much better than that. Hey Erin, R-E-L-A-X man! You'll have lots of time to do that while your sitting at home for the playoffs!

Didn’t get to watch the game but saw that Jackson was injured on his interception. Any word on the severity?

It was a stupid play. He should have kneeled in the end zone, but tried to take it out, realized it was stupid, and then spun to go down and twisted his ankle pretty good. No idea of severity, but he definitely rolled it.

They're saying high able sprain and definitely out next week. Hopefully ready for the playoffs, but you know how high sprains can be...

Trubisky looked excellent. Hiestand's influence shows on the OL. That defense...

Beating the Rams and Pack back to back is a big statement.

I'm glad Nagy kicked the FG to go up 24-14 when it was Fourth and 1. Sometimes it's better to be safe, but I love the play calling and the trickery.

Every game has it's own context. If you have to win 38-35 or you have to win 14-10, just win the game.

Seemed to me by the Packers fans sitting by me they knew it was more of a time of when during that game that the Bears would separate. Glad to be Champs. Keep winning and possibly have a 1st round by with some luck.
