lol. This is literally playing out exactly how I assumed this would play out. The kid loves the attention, and if he wanted to commit to ND, he'd have done it any number of times already.

FWIW, the kid has a chronically bum shoulder, and really has only earned is star rating through the camp circuit. There's not a ton of actual game experience there, and I can't help but wonder if he's as good as the sites say he is. I'm not convinced him not coming is the biggest loss in the world.

THE SKY IS FALLING every time a recruit changes his mind or says something positive about another school. Let's just watch how this one plays out. If Kelly wants him that bad, I think he gets him especially since he's had one foot in the door.

I think Hayes is worth the trouble and hope he still wants on the ND squad. Let's see what happens when we make the playoffs.

Can't get too high or too low with momentum in recruiting. It's not over yet. Let the season unfold a little more, we aren't out of anything and I bet there will be more names pop up, we will slide with others, and maybe even land someone we didn't expect. Recruiting is crazy, I don't understand why some of you flip out every time a kid flip flops. That's what kids do lol.

DH is milking the process. Since he was anointed the next big thing towards the end of his soph year at St. Mary's, he has played in FIVE and 1 QUARTER games. He is living on his camp / 7v7 rep. This isn't basketball, you can't accurately gauge what you've got in a football prospect during the summers only. There's no question he's off the charts in measurables and that's why we want ND to risk a spot on him, it's not because of his bloated Rivals ranking.

At least you know what you are getting. Hayes might be the next Justin Tuck or the next Ishaq Williams with Austin Collinsworth's shoulder.

That's simply not true. In fact, besides being very comparable to CJ Sanders offensively and on special teams, Alloway is also a 3 year starter as a DB who now plays in the offensive shadow of a Top 5 '17 RB. Dude is a GREAT high school player.

But really Tom Loy? He was the only mod just driving home that Hayes is going to end up at ND unless it burnt to the ground. Now.... I just don't get it, it's not like he changed his mind last night

He should leave it whichever team finishes higher (ND vs MSU)
in the final college football playoff rankings gets his commitment. Nuff said!

Kids gonna be a monster... wait? Whats that? Probably not coming here you say? Well, I didn't care anyway cause he.... uhm... he uhhhh... looks meh. Yea thats it, and I don't think we need a rivals 5* to our number 17 nationally ranked class.

Plus this one guy who plays a different position and also probably won't come here looks sooo much better.
