I was today years old when I learned ND-Wake is being billed as the Duke's Mayo Classic.

Football activities are likely to be shut down for the foreseeable future just from contact tracing. And if the positives were legit, then we can expect even more positives over the next 72 hours. Consider that everyone was contagious and packed into a single locker room on Saturday.

I said yesterday that I'd be very surprised if we even got to play FSU, and that still holds when you look at the timelines. Best case scenario is resuming full practices middle of the week before FSU. Most likely, we don't resume practices until Louisville week.

I don't think games that are postponed/cancelled are "forfeits"... I think they're treated similar to when games are cancelled for hurricanes, etc. But it would certainly be difficult to make up the game at a later date given the scheduling of the ACC Championship Game.... that would need to move, or FSU would need to swap another game into our spot to free up a later date.

Makes sense. I think I read somewhere that the conferences are going based on win percentages as to who gets in their title games due to this probably happening.

Correct. Per the ACC regulations on it, games cancelled due to COVID are "no contests" that will not show up in the standings.

Eric Hansen had an article yesterday where he interviewed Dr. Mark Fox who is consulting with ND this year due to covid, and he made it sound like they need to know what changed or caused this outbreak before getting back to practice. The fear is they’ll end up right back in this spot if they don’t know what caused it. He also mentioned their method for testing should be adequate enough, but if they don’t find the source for this outbreak, then maybe they’ll need to go the Big10 and Pac 12 method with testing everyday.

Not sure on the breakdown between those isolated vs. those quarantined, but I heard if ND were to play this week, they would be without an amount of players in the upper 20’s. No clue if it’s true.

Clark was out for USF, so he's not a rumor. 14 days will be up for him by Oct 10th, although it may be only a day or two before depending on when he got flagged.

Book's another story, that would be a blow. But he's also the easiest pick for an internet troll fake rumot guy.
