My god a Black + DPJ combo at WR would be absolutely lethal.
Andrew Luck is out of eligibility to throw them the ball.......
My god a Black + DPJ combo at WR would be absolutely lethal.
denbrock is visiting him today--
“I know they’re really high on academics, they have a lot of alumni connections going on there, great football program, they’re a powerhouse every year, and they pass the ball a lot, so it was definitely a great experience and they left a great impression on me," said Black to 247Sports recruiting director Steve Wiltfong.
“I had a chance to get a feel for the coaching staff as well as the players and team chemistry, and I was getting the inside scoop from the players and I can tell they’re down to earth people there and the coaches are the same guys recruiting me as when you get there."

eye roll.....cares about academics ? wr at auburn? remind you this was just a few days ago ....(ricardo louis)“I would say that the Browns saw things from me that other teams didn’t see,” Louis said, according to ClevelandBrowns.com. “They understand that I was in a scheme at Auburn that didn’t require me to run very many routes, very diverse or complex routes and the fact that I was not developed as receiver at the time.
I'm sorry fellas, is he not allowed to enjoy his visits to other campuses and then respond politely over twitter?
Pull the stick out of your butts.
visiting on their own dime seems to be more than just enjoying a visit....

ISD said that his parents wore Irish stuff to the Opening regional. C'mon Tarik, make your momma happy
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Tarik Black, the No. 1 receiver in the East and No. 15 receiver nationally, breaks down his top five.
Tarik Black, the No. 15 receiver in the nation, plans to make his college decision in the next few months, but it could be an interesting fall since he does not plan on announcing until January.
The 6-foot-3 1/2, 206-pound Black has a top five, and he also mixed in a trip to Auburn on Friday because his brother goes to school nearby an the Tigers were pushing for a visit.
"My top five is Alabama, Notre Dame, Stanford, Michigan and UCLA," Black said. "Basically, those schools are my top five because I feel that they can put me in the best position possible and develop me as a man academically, and also athletically. That’s why they are my top five."
Black is in the process of scheduling visits to those schools, and he wants to make them by the start of his senior season at Cheshire (Conn.) Academy.
"What’s important to me?" Black said. "Family atmosphere, playing time, developing into the receiver I want to be and the man I want to be. I just want to have a good career.
"I want to decide before my senior season. I’ll probably do a silent commit, and then announce at the Army All-American game."
Black said distance is not an issue, and he made a trip to California to check on a pair of schools.
"I absolutely loved UCLA," Black said. "When I was at UCLA I was very, very impressed. It’s a great coaching staff, NFL experience, coach (Eric) Yarber is a great receivers coach He coached a bunch of NFL guys. I could definitely see myself fitting in.
"I went in having high expectations, and I left impressed."
Stanford also made an impression on Black.
"It’s a great education, and obviously my parents are very high on academics," Black said. "They had to be in my top five. I really like them as well. Their football program, Pac-12 champs, I could really see myself being a big-time player there if I was to choose Stanford."
The changes coach Jim Harbaugh made in one season at Michigan caught Black's eye, and the way the receivers play in the offense is intriguing.
"Michigan has a great coaching staff," Black said. "They’re on the rise.
Jim Harbaugh as improved their program from (5-7) to 10-3 in one year.
I could see myself fitting into that offense as well."
Receiver development is huge to Black, and he sees a lot of it at Alabama and Notre Dame.
"Alabama, it’s a great football program," he said. "I don’t know how many times they were national champs, but it’s a lot. They develop their receivers, as you can see with Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley. If I want to be developed into the receiver I want to be, Alabama could be a place."
In Notre Dame, Black sees a mix on and off the fields.
"Great education, great tradition," he said. "They develop their receivers as well. You could that with Will Fuller being a first-round draft pick. I can definitely see myself fitting into their offense as a big-time deep threat."
Meanwhile, Auburn is trying to make a push off the latest visit.
"We were down for our oldest son's graduation in Tuskegee, Alabama, and Auburn has been in contact with Tarik for some time so we took the trip over while in town," said Black's dad, Malik. "It was a great visit with coach (Gus) Malzhan and (receivers coach) Kodi Burns. Very impressive!"
Alabama develops WR's? More like they got a couple of 5 Stars who get single coverage over their career because the other team has to stop a 6-2 250lb battering ram year in and year out.
Has a brother that goes to something as highly respected as Tuskegee and then puts Bama in his Final 5 with four Top 30 schools, two of which will allow you to get the promised education. At least he didn't mention anything about Bama's education, apparently he doesn't want to be a probation officer in Mobile if his NFL aspirations fail to pan out.
Julio Jones and Amari Cooper were both special college players and NFL players. Calvin Ridley looks like he's going to be joining those ranks as well. Bama does a pretty good job putting out high level WR's.
Ironically, it's their RB's that tend to be overrated and flop in the NFL. Eddie Lacy looked like he might've broken that trend, but he's on his way to eating himself out of the NFL.

He never mentioned the Bama RB's in the league. He mentioned them being awfully damned hard t stop in college ......and he's right. Bama has had no problem whatsoever putting 5* WR's in the league, he said that, however, it's in part because they've not had to face an entire game of being double teamed with a CB & S. Hell, it's damn near impossible against Bama when you've got to have I kids in the box, sometimes 9........
Was he on campus this weekend?
I wonder where he stands with the coaches. He seems pretty high on us.
For the 2 weeks leading up to II, we knew what every recruit was wearing, what their Mama's thought and if they preferred Jimmy John's or Firehouse Subs. Since... not so much.
Is he on campus today? Was supposed to be.
