That I believe is a L for BK and giant dub for Napier. Someone with a pulse in the SEC East is probably indirectly good for us in the end

Maybe Kelly’s biggest L yet. I don’t think he really expected Rees, Freeman to follow. This and probably Elston are blows.

No fear. He snagged Kerry Cooks for an on field coaching role. Think about that for a second. He couldn't be a on field coach at ND, but is now one at LSU. You know, the school deemed DB U. Oooof.

Just realized Raymond is likely not the guy we want Devin Moore to see would be his new position coach. No longer happy for Napier lol

Found a few posts about Denbrock on Tigerdroppings. It looks like they would probably skeptical about the hire as a number of posters pointed out that BK basically demoted him at ND and that's why he left. Going to be a tough sell.

If you guys remember - BK took over play-calling from Denbrock on numerous occasions

Now if he could only hire BVG and we’ll be all set.

Who are the all time worst Brian Kelly assistants? BVG is obviously king. Longo was ineffective but had his health problems so I won’t criticize.

Molnar is up there too. Could endorse a top 3 of BvG, Booker and Molnar.

I don’t know. It’s rare when ND hires a young head coach with no HC experience. Plus Tommy was looking at 400K more than what he was earning. That’s awful tempting especially for a youngster.

Chuck Martin as OC is still the most baffling hire for me. Good coach who literally never coached an offensive skill position is tabbed to coach QBs and be your OC. People criticize the Rees hire as lazy. That was all time.

I simply just want to see BVG on the LSU staff. They deserve the same dumpster fire he put us through. That dude simply wasted the most talented team Kelly ever had at ND. I'll never forgive him for the 2015 season.

After not getting anyone from ND, going after Cooks and Martin almost seems like acts of desperation.

Having a virtually empty coaching roster with just days to ESD is a bold strategy Cotton. Also, their player roster is getting emptier by the minute. Good thing Kelly is a bulldog on the recruiting trail. Oh. Right.

I hope this doesn't have anything to do with Taylor.

Taylor was interviewing for head coaching and OC jobs this year. He is not going to start over down there unless it's a huge OC deal.

Seems ill-advised when he is set up on the right career trajectory and has a loaded RB room at ND to keep the train rolling.

Classes you hurry and scrap together right before signing day because of a coaching turnover historically have been full of busts and attrition
