That was Palm's update last night. I guessing he's projecting SCAR beats CL, Bama gives Aub loss #2, then does the same in Title game, and the SEC lobbies for SCAR over the other SEC 2 loss teams. Likewise CL loses to SCAR then MIA gets loss In ACC title game. aCC lobbies CL as 2nd Best in Conference.
TSN's Lineup is:
Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. Oregon
Orange Bowl: UCF vs. Clemson
Sugar Bowl: Auburn vs. Stanford
Fiesta Bowl: Fresno State vs. Baylor
BCS National Championship: Alabama vs. Florida State
A little confused by this one. Isn't Stanford now in the driver's seat in the Pac-12 North, and thus likely bound for the Rose?
Also in the SCAR/Mizzou/Auburn/A&M "who gets the second SEC slot" debate, I'd put my money on a team from the West, probably Auburn. Mizzou's still got A&M and Ole Miss to beat, meaning the East champ will likely have three losses - two regular season and the title game. That'd a tough sell over, say, a two-loss Auburn team that'll probably be higher-ranked, too. (unless they get trounced by Alabama).
All this once again proving the idiocy of conference championship games. If you're aiming for an at-large, you're so much better off not playing in one.
