Alabama vs FSU Championship
Stanford vs tOSU Rose
UCF vs Oregon Orange
Missouri vs Clemson Sugar
Fresno St vs Baylor Fiesta

Depending on the Sugars want/need to select another SEC team.

Orange would have the #2 and #3 picks, no way they pick Oregon/UCF. More likely Oregon/Texas A&M or Clemson/Oregon.

Mariota v Manziel would be good for ratings. Especially since JF once committed there.

With Clemson playing SC in the last regular season game, don't see both of them in the BCS. SC doesn't deserve it anyway regardless. If Clemson beats SC, at SC, I'd think Clemson is deserving.

That was Palm's update last night. I guessing he's projecting SCAR beats CL, Bama gives Aub loss #2, then does the same in Title game, and the SEC lobbies for SCAR over the other SEC 2 loss teams. Likewise CL loses to SCAR then MIA gets loss In ACC title game. aCC lobbies CL as 2nd Best in Conference.

TSN's Lineup is:
Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. Oregon
Orange Bowl: UCF vs. Clemson
Sugar Bowl: Auburn vs. Stanford
Fiesta Bowl: Fresno State vs. Baylor
BCS National Championship: Alabama vs. Florida State

Except for the fact Clemson got jaw jacked by FSU...

I mean destroyed.

A little confused by this one. Isn't Stanford now in the driver's seat in the Pac-12 North, and thus likely bound for the Rose?

Also in the SCAR/Mizzou/Auburn/A&M "who gets the second SEC slot" debate, I'd put my money on a team from the West, probably Auburn. Mizzou's still got A&M and Ole Miss to beat, meaning the East champ will likely have three losses - two regular season and the title game. That'd a tough sell over, say, a two-loss Auburn team that'll probably be higher-ranked, too. (unless they get trounced by Alabama).
All this once again proving the idiocy of conference championship games. If you're aiming for an at-large, you're so much better off not playing in one.

Assuming Bama and FSU win this weekend, who is your Top 5? It's a complete mess after 2. Mine would be:

1) Bama
2) FSU
3) Stanford
4) Baylor
5) Ohio State

It's going to be very, very interesting to see what happens if Bama or FSU slips up before the year is over.

Video Home - CBSSports.com

Jerry Palm explains his 11/10 BCS projections in a 4 minute video.

Sugar SCA - UCF
Orange CL - ORE
Rose SU - OSU
Title ALA - FSU
Fiesta Fresno - Baylor

He notes the Sugar would be a season rematch which bowls don't like but added that South Carolina is the best SEC team outside of the state of Alabama. Keep in mind the SEC (Sugar Tie-in) will lobby hard for the team they believe will best represent them.

Really? Are you one of those who just likes video game offense?
I posted this earlier in this thread but Stanford has already played four, maybe five, teams that are better than anyone Baylor has played thus far. They've beaten four of them. Baylor has beaten... Kansas State?
I'll wait a couple of weeks before anointing Baylor, thanks.

Are we there yet?

Miami too, but they will drift deep down the slide this week... Stanford is the most overrated team on the BCS list in my opinion. Putting them ahead of Baylor should be a jail-time offense.

I still think this team is worth taking a look at...

Sure. My point (what, three weeks ago?) was based on performance to date. Things change every week. But what won't change: Baylor still needs Bama or FSU to lose in order to have a title shot.

Heres hoping Bama loses. ACC vs Big 12 would be fantastic
