Amen.....gives me a headache and makes me feel sadness for the life they live.

Haha... Oh geez... Like you know the first damn thing about the life Koon or I live.

I think we are both pretty happy with our lives. It's the internet. Relax.

The first step is admitting that you have a problem...

Even though Wooly is a cotton headed ninnimugen, I do believe he probably has a happy life outside of IE. And I know, post count, but believe it or not I do too.

Damn it! You've ruined the facade! I've wanted to believe this whole time that everyone here is miserable, and I come here to feel better about my own life. Thanks, <strike>Obama</strike> Koon!

It's not his fault really. About 9,000 of those posts were related to Maty Mauk. ]

If Mauk played basketball, Wooly's post count would be much lower. Maty made him do it.

Wooly really did have a weird obsession with that dude and I never understood it.

Wooly didn't like him. Lots of other people thought he would be amazing. Wooly appears to have been correct.

Are you sure? I swear wooly banged down the door for this kid. If not I apologize wooly and was with you the whole time

Jayhawk is right...Wooly and I disagreed on Mauk vs. Kiel (Wooly was for Kiel) and I was beyond wrong on Mauk. I LOVED him out of HS, and was never sold on Kiel. Mauk had his moments early, but then regressed massively, and of course had his issues off-the-field. I'm still not sold on Kiel and he might not even start next year, but I don't think it's debatable between the two. I whiffed on that one lol.

Rumors are Kiel has/had off the field issues too. You two where judging a turd competition.

Kiel's troubles are a but different than Mauk's. They're definitely issues... but not the same as Mauk just being a trainwreck, IMO.

That is like choosing between chlamydia and anti-fungal resistant ringworm. Or is it impetigo?

Loomis got some time off until the start of football season.

Reasons: (summary of post Lax made in Presidential Race thread):

He baited and antagonized other posters, and then reported their posts claiming to be the "victim" when they hit back and trying to get them banned. This is a classic troll move. The mods talked it through and looked at his posting history and agreed to monitor him, and last night was the end of the line.

We try to give a LOT of leniency in political threads because we know people will butt heads and potentially get heated. But you have to at least be trying to post something of substance to get the benefit of the doubt... you can't just spend week after week sniping at people and then trolling in every response. He also went through the effort of negging anyone who disagreed with him, even if their post was completely neutral in tone..

FYI we are trying to be transparent with our reasons for banning posters so that others may avoid making the same mistakes.

Thanks for the action and the update.

A couple years ago when I was a mod Loomis got a short term ban for the same behavior. Recidivism isn't unique to the correction system.

Call it the "Gyro tax". It's their compensation for giving the world such a delicious treat.

I would like to add that Greeks gave civilization all great things. Some examples:

- Baklava
- Souvlaki
- Pita Bread
- Modern Philosophy
- The Olympics
- Democracy
- Modern Science
- Water Mills
- The Alarm Clock
- Theater
- Central Heating
- Good looks
- Maps
- Trial by Jury
- The Hippocratic Oath
- The Screw
- The Shower
- The Crossbow
- Togas
- Toga Parties
- Gratuitous Sex

As my Papou would always remind me as a child...

"Our ancestors were inventing philosophy and creating society while the rest of the world was swinging from trees and eating their own shit". *
