I would like to propose a motion. I would like to propose that any poster who gets banned at any point during a calendar year be exempt from any Annual IE Award or nominations of an award for that calendar year.

But think of who we'd lose. IrishPat, greyhammer90, NDinLA (and I'm sure others). Very good characters if nothing else. I mean, greyhammer was 'funniest poster of 2012', Pat is the ultimate wild card, and NDinLA has to be a possibility for something.

I make a second proposal. The IE 'all beer team' for who you'd most likely to have a drink (or 12) with.

My all-beer team (in no particular order):

BobD, Irishpat183, Title2014, Dshans, military Irish, whiskeyjack, Junkhead, GATTICA, Acamp1900, UltimatePennStateHater, Rackem, jonnycando, IrishSteelhead, beryirish, Irish Insanity, PANDFAN, NDaccountant, ulukinatmeand, Irishlion10, TTown, and gkIrish.

Not set in stone, but my 5 OVs are likely to:

Irishpat's, Irishsteelhead's, PANDFAN, IrishInsanity, and Rackem's.

Early favorites are Irishpat, Irishsteelheads, and Rackem, but rumor is a PM from IrishInsanity could change that in a hurry, and look for beryirish to really make a push if he starts posting again. Of course, if talks are true of johnnycando selling out his vbucks for friends, he could become a major player.

I think anyone who has been on the board for a few knows HCTI/ Eddie and I have special friendship for never having met...

Maybe, but its funny how perceptions change when you've met someone face to face There was a guy I used to play an MMO with, thought he was kind of an *******, turns out he was an ND fan. We met up at the Utah game a few years back, coolest dude ever. Of course, we did get have a few drinks before the game, and the outcome was awesome, but I made my assessment long before we started drinking lol

There was a family bar, however, actually it was a tavern. OneNYfan knew where it was. Down the street from St. Cecila's where Vince Lombardi got his first coaching job.
