I thought i remember Bellicheck telling coach Kelly to simplify the game or to not have his players think too much or something along those lines. I feel like its a similar deal here, at some point hes gotta just let some players loose. If he cant teach Redfield the things he needs to know to be playing we have a problem. Theres no reason we should keep holding out a player to keep in an older one that is still not playing good himself.

Looking at this thread the day after a loss reminds me of surveying a battlefield after a huge bloody battle to determine the casualty count.

I didn't like that we lost to Pitt anymore than the next guy, but if a loss turns a guy into a d1ck, then he was probably a d1ck to begin with. I still marvel at how some rather rude and confrontational posters navigate this site without getting banned and others just don't, though.

I disagree. The kid is a part of this university and a representative of the team and school. When he goes out on the field he's giving 100%, just like any other player. I feel like theres a speech in here about the coaches being men and being 40...but anyway, in the end they're kids playing a game. It's a game we're all passionate about when it comes to our school. QBs throw INTs, it's part of the game. Some QBs throw more than others, and Tommy's number isn't outlandish. He was tied with Manziel, Taylor Kelly, and had 3 less than Gardner as of last night. Yeah, he could play better, but the coaches know his strengths and weaknesses and quite frankly the play calling sometimes puts him in situations that don't play to those strengths.

Too bad guys go off the rails, but equally bad are guys who can't brook criticism of their opinions or the team. Sharing opinions is part of the reason we come here. Just need to avoid the personal whenever possible.

Also seems that some of this flows from a little too much of the grape (or the grain or the malt). For some guys alcohol and frustration don't mix. (For me, during and after games like last night, the alcohol is a necessary palliative.)

Remember when Kayne was that poster on twitter who had all these sources saying Davonte Neal to Arizona and everyone was freaking out? Guy was all over twitter that day. Then he's an ohio state fan and a ND fan. I don't think the drive way goes all the way to the garage with him.

It was surprisingly easy to wash out, so long as you have Old Spice body wash. I went from flammable in the corner of the kitchen, to flammable between the sheets after one serving.

Yes, it's really thick on here. It's ten times easier to just pat another poster on the back than to have your own opinion. It's 100 times easier when your opinion doesn't conform to what the 'respected' poster thinks.

So I asked 'we are slow, longo must go?'. I think our defense is slow and we have no athletes on special teams (all relative to the recruits we get).

And that opinion lead you to act like this?
