Damn! I repped Vermin for his "undersold" post in the GameDay thread.

I've disagreed with him on that topic and still do (HE overbought) but his post in the GameDay thread was timely. Didn't see any followup or the terminal post.

Uh, isn't that the argument the player thrown out of the game for throwing a punch uses, "But he threw one first!"

He still gets tossed out. And the first guy might have also if the ref saw it.



I don't know if that exchange was the penalty box issue. As Salty noted, he got a warning tonight. Usually there's a warning process and it takes a couple of events to get dusted. Sometimes not.

Most of the other boards I post on have rules where you get a temp ban if you talk bad about current players. I wouldn't mind seeing this adopted

No, it was him. I guess none of us knew if he had gotten banned. I think he had posted a few times, and even asked to get banned, after he made that comment.

Wasn't a shot at the mods, just wondering if there was some reason he would not have gotten banned if he didn't.

And my posts aren't 'drive by's. I call it like I see it, even if it's against the status quo. The mob mentality is strong here, and going against the grain is usually met with any army of group think.

Example my post: 'We need to let Redfield play, there's no way he can be worse than Farley. Farley can't cover or tackle, so what does it matter if he can line guys up? Make the game simple and get the best players on the field'.

Gets hammered with 'Kelly's 1000X smarter than you, closer to the situation, maybe Max can't tackle, walk, read, etc.' Lol.

Some people can't handle opposing opinions. It makes them all uncomfortable and itchy. I don't align my opinion with the Mods/board favorites unless they're right.

I wish this board wouldn't suffocate other opinions. I have a laundry list of things I've been right about, but when I posted I got absolutely killed for, lol.

Well then I'd say you're ahead of the curve. IDK how bad he is, but he probably has as good of instincts at safety as Farley since he's been playing it as long/longer, is ridiculously more athletic and can hit.

Farley can't stick with above average WRs, and can't tackle anyone on the field. It's time to let the younger guys play.

And it's not even just Redfield, Hardy has been impressive in his stints. This is more about Farley not being able to play than the other guys proving themselves. No, we haven't seen them in an extended role, but we've seen enough of Farley to know he's not a D1 starting safety, and the young guys have looked good when in.
