Just because he's tall doesn't mean he can't play NG. Terrence Cody was pretty tall and was a very good NG for Alabama.

Most important aspect of a NG is staying low to bust through double teams and create pentatration. Obviously the shorter you are the easiery this is to do be not a nessesitite it's all about form and technique.

Farrell said that most likely Jay will start off as a 5.8 rating, between 175-250, and that would put him at low 4 star. In his analysis he thinks that jay will need sometime to develop(1-2 years in college). All in all rivals wasn't as enthusiastic as was jc shurburt when he explained Jay on 247. This is not my opinion was just bringing the info. Personally I am more in 247 camp as a potential top 100ish player.
