It probably is weirder that I assumed it than that you did. I used to live in Portland. I'm aware that there are only 6 black people in the entire state of Oregon that don't play professional basketball; you probably weren't aware of that.

JJ explicitly stated his penchant for illicit drug use. He specifically mentioned marijuana and prescription drugs on multiple occasions. I believe he also mentioned "harder" drugs. He's also posted while under the influence, including vulgar attacks on other posters.

I don't have answers to your other questions, but many of the negative things being said are confirmed by JJ himself, not "unsubstantiated assumptions."
