NIU is 24-2 in that same span.

At this time, outside of OSU and Mich St, the Big Ten is equivalent or just above the American conference at best. That conference is just not good but since they have the conference "BIG TEN" that automatically puts them in the top 5 with an undefeated record. Unlike NIU who is also undefeated but have the "MAC" conference label over theirs.

That's absolutely sickening. Some people really need to get their priorities straight. This is a football game. Hopefully this doesn't turn into what happened to the Boise State kicker in 2010 after he missed those 2 FG's against Nevada. He and his family got thousands of death threats.

Pretty sure they stacked the line for the kick with big men to ensure it wasn't blocked. Thats on Saban. You gotta know at that point your kicker and holder are probably the only athletic people from your team on the field. And we know how most of them tackle.

Tough loss but the run had to end sometime. Sometimes a great coach simply out-coaches himself. Auburn deserved to win as they stayed true to their game plan and Bama did not. How do you beat Bama? Get Nick to deviate from his process. And Gus and crew did just that. Congrats to the Tigers.

Saban really laid down in front of the traffic heading towards his players during his post game conference yesterday. I've never seen him so open and sincere with the press. He wasn't snippy at all, and didn't deflect any questions.

Sometimes it just doesn't go your way. Auburn had a good game plan and executed it well. We had an off day, never got in sync (give Auburn credit for some of that), and we shot ourselves in the foot at critical points too often. We've still won three NC's and more than 90% of our games during the past 5 seasons. Tough loss, but we'll survive.
