And those miracles were WAY more miraculous. UGA and ALA in back to back games (in 3 weeks) is just insane.

I don't get why some people think ND had "miracle" wins last year. The only one I could think of being remotely close to a "miracle" was the Pitt game when they got lucky for not being penalized for having two #2's on the field at the same time. And even then, I'm sure plenty of teams have gotten away with that in the past. Plus, teams miss FG's with the game on the line all the time...whoops (can't help but chuckle a bit at my team).

Anyone else think that if Alabama somehow makes it to the NC they will win?

The odds of Duke beating FSU are really freaking slim though... and then tOSU would also have to lose... if either wins I don't see how it happens... the voters will make sure the SEC champ is rated higher... just my two cents.

I agree with this. Pitt got just as lucky when Wood fumbled, untouched, diving in for what would have been the winning TD. Luck is the Auburn win at Alabama, not a kicker missing a 35 yarder, or whatever it was.

For what it's worth to Bama fans, I think Bama beats Auburn 8 out of 10 times. Just not in the cards Saturday. Tough loss.

Bama is in is OSU loses and Mizzou loses.

??? you are saying they are going to get in over FSU or Auburn who just beat them??? the only way it happens is if BOTH FSU and tOSU lose... correct?

I can't believe Mizzou would be kept out by bama... that would be the most unreal BCS ending ever.

Why blame the kicker? Saban lost the game. The kicker was only 1 of 11 people on the FG team who didn't make a play.

These people suck as humans.

I had to laugh...when you think about who is typically on your FG team it's not a gathering of your best tacklers. Offensive linemen, a holder, a kicker, and maybe a couple TE's. The guys chasing him were boasting their 5.3 forty times and a couple of them got lit up. Never will get sick of watching that return.

OSU is going to get beat by Sparty.

You guys shouldn't get too worked up about terminology. I think the Pitt game was something of a miracle win for us, considering the fumble and the missed chip shot of a FG. But if you want to label it something else, no biggie.

Auburn is lucky that they got the chance to return the FG attempt. From the replay, the refs could have very easily said time is out after the play right before the attempt. Then they wouldn't have gotten the run back.

I'll see if I can find the article, but I was reading earlier where there was a group of fans (all Bama I believe) at a watch party and after the loss one girl shot another girl to death. It said the victim and her sister were sober and leaving the party and one made a comment 'I don't care about the loss', and the suspect (who was drunk) took offense and eventually it turned in to a fight and a shooting. The worst part was the sister of the victim explained they were actually discussing a Miami Heat game at the time and not the game that just ended, and they were all pulling for the same team. Odd and sad.

One Alabama fan is taking the Crimson Tide's stunning loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl especially hard. The fan has put all of his Alabama stuff for sale on Craigslist after the team's first loss of the season.

Take a look at what else the fan is looking to rid:

via Craigslist

"Everything you see is for sale. Make me an offer," he writes.

Oh, the seller also promises to not watch another Alabama game until head coach Nick Saban is gone. Yes, the seller wants Saban, who has gone 72-8 since 2008 and won three of the past four national titles, gone.

That shows the expectations in Tuscaloosa right now. Alabama had won 15 straight games before Saturday's instant classic, and the loss dropped the Crimson Tide from No. 1 to No. 4 in the latest BCS standings. Apparently, that isn't good enough for one fan who expects a national championship every year.

Just finished watching the replay of this game and the 4th Qtr was AMAZING. Despite Verne and Gary's Bama homerism, it was satisfying to watch that game end the way it did.

And the ESPY Award for Game of the Year goes to...oh, eff it, "Bama vs. Auburn".

What a finish and month for Auburn!
