I tried to tell you all last week without being too cocky, this team rarely if ever gets pushed around. Heatherman allowed our DEs to get up field instead of stunting like last year plus the secondary played lights out.

Both teams obviously have a lot to work on though. Good luck against A&M

We lost 3 lineman and our o line protection was fucking trash.

Other than losing, that was my biggest disappointment ... so much talent and experience they definitely UNDERPERFORMED. Oh well, TA&M up next.

Very disappointed in Denbrock’s play calling. Stretch the damn field. So tired of having a new QB and we run a very simple offense. If Carr is the QB…open the playbook and let him play.
Both lines need a TON of work. Hopefully we have things figured out by aTm.

They needed to take the training wheels off Carr after the first series. They didn't until the 4th quarter. I know most people are blaming the defense for that loss, but for me it was really the offense that just couldn't get it done. Abysmal play calling. And BTW, I didn't see anything special about that Miami team. They beat a poorly prepared ND team IMO.

Wagner and Knapp are both underweight and undersized to be tackles they need to do some shifting this offseason neither should be playing tackle. You want pros at your tackle spots not guys who are gonna be a liability against better teams.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. Most will agree that Knapp is out of position. After having a year of ups and downs under his belt, I was expecting better play out of him this year. Wagner is a different story. He was very solid last year.. He looked lost against Miami, but there's no reason to bail on him. Those DE's might be the best they face all season.
