After all the allegations of paid players, ped’s, and book scams in the SEC I don’t see how this just gets swept under the rug. I think the NCAA has to act on this or there media and other schools throughout the country will be all over the NCAA. Have said this before and have no problem repeating myself, “where there’s smoke there’s fire” things in the SEC are too good to be true.

I think it will come down to will the NCAA benefit more from letting the SEC continue it's ways than it would from hitting as they should, or vice versa...

In response to Selena Roberts' Auburn story, Emmert says, "What there is a newspaper story. That’s it."

Emmert held a press conference today as a part of the final four and was apparently a big time dbag.

@JasonKirkSBN: Mark Emmert's Final Four press conference: A disaster, in tweets Mark Emmert's Final Four press conference: A disaster, in tweets - SBNation.com

He doesn't seem very good at his job, but it seems that way with every organizational sports leader... Goodell, Selig, Stern..etc.

A ****ing jackass leading the herd.. I firmly believe cheating of all sorts is running rampant throughout the SEC with no fear of the NCAA and their inconsistent, unorganized ways. Thumbs up their asses.

With regards Emmert, I seriously have no idea how he got appointed in the first place much less has been allowed to keep his job. He is so bad at it and part of me is starting to think he's intentionally sand bagging.

First and foremost, he has SEC roots being the Chancellor of LSU for a number of years. I think that is part of the issue that allows him to turn a blind eye towards everything SEC.

Second, he's ****ing stupid. The way he talks and presents himself is not what you'd expect for any major executive. It's honestly pathetic. How is it possible that we can't find some nice Harvard/Princeton/Stanford/etc. etc. educated person with better qualifications and no ties to the SEC to lead the NCAA? Someone who actually believes in education and won't have biases?

SEC conspiracy to sink the NCAA, so they can (even further) dominate CFB with their natural recruiting advantages. Emmert is the Manchurian Candidate.

Currently blowing up on Twitter. This might finally be it for the Tigers.

Well I just so happen to be working with a guy whom was a DB for georgia Southern while Muschamp was DB's Coach! The info I received is that this is not a surprise WM would be the guy everyone went to for everything... "Need a rental car go see muschamp, need money to take a girl on a date go see muschamp, need honestly anything and he was the man you were told to go see!" I was floored and I questioned him all day regarding this situation.

I am sick of seeing all these stories break after a powerhouse becomes a train wreck on the field. Like none of this information was out there when they were winning. There will be plenty of dirt on Alabama once they start losing too. No one knows it is not going on now.I don"t think so.

I just wanna see them get the hammer from the NCAA. And i would love it even more if Muschamp ended up in trouble too. But i wont get my hopes up with the way the NCAA appears to just turn a blind eye

You all hear the latest? Failed drug test cover-ups? Some ESPN the Mag reporter just finished up a 6-month investigation in which multiple failed drug tests for use of synthetic marijuana were supressed by the team; supposedly 7 failed tests by one player alone (Mosley I believe). I'm loving every second of this.

Y! SPORTS

Maybe it's just confirmation bias towards my initial gut feeling, but I just read this article and I think it sums up perfectly the loser that is Mark Emmert. The problem? I think most cheating schools like this bumbling fool in charge and I doubt he gets pushed out.

Something has to be done, the NCAA is going to have a real hard time pushing this one to the side.

News Flash: Emmert is a Bufoon!

Couch: Collapsing ncaa powerless to penalize Auburn - College Football News | FOX Sports on MSN

The sad truth from the article:

"Look, following the NCAA’s disastrous investigation into Miami, you’d think this would be exactly what it needs. But no. So Emmert’s odd reaction made one thing perfectly clear: The NCAA can’t do anything about this. It is now way, way too vulnerable. Nothing is going to happen to Auburn. The NCAA is weak. It’s on the verge of being eaten."

I wonder if Mr. Anzalone has had a talk with Muschamp. The last player on the UF roster who needs cash is Alex (Dad is a doctor), but I know for a fact that his Dad never hesitates to pick up the phone and call the school or drop by if something is up regarding his boy.

So...I guess it's time to pull out the roadblocks? All potential recruits get a free Vette furnished with a stripper of their choosing!

What does that even mean? And why shouldn't a parent be involved? (as the Auburn story suggests, you can't exactly rely on the schools to watch out for your son) And is there really any point in talking **** about an 18 year old like that?
It sucks Anzalone ditched us for Florida, but it's his life. Lets move on, yes?

I'm guessing he's asking if Dr. Anzalone has called Muschamp to ask about his involvement in these shenanigans. I don't read Leppy's comment as talking sh*t about Alex. I also don't think he's suggesting that a parent shouldn't be involved, actually, quite the opposite.

OK. Fair enough. I may have misinterpreted. I sometimes get over-sensitive about internet tough guys fragging teenagers who change their mind about where to go to college.

I wanted to hear from someone who had a clue what they were talking about, and Keith is the best! I am with him on this. Dr. A: 1) Micromanaged his son's recruitment; B) Talked high and mighty, allowing little room for doubt as to who was morally superior; III) Based upon the first two, made it real clear that his son would end up at a university that was way above others in terms of moral superiority, truth, and the American way.

I appologize if I am putting words in anyone's mouth but the situation is frought with irony that this Super Dad picked a common thug of a bagman, to aid in the moral development of his Super Son.

It was funny how he said he was innocent and didn't do anything, yet admitted to going into the house while his friends committed armed robbery.

Somewhat related to tainted titles I guess

'93? Seriously, Auburn? If anyone had a claim in '93 aside from FSU it's us.
