Well if you're doing the S&C segment then it certainly will have to be.

We'd have to save Koon vs Wooly for special Friday (or even just monthly) segments, that way it's always a treat to look forward to, and it doesn't get stale.

Also, we could create an Envy for "Most Annoying Voice" and have every willing poster do a guest spot, just for award purposes.

I actually participate occasionally in a beer tasting podcast run by a friend of mine where he serves guests beer and we blind taste test it. Usually consume about 24 oz of 6-10% beer in about 45 minutes between the different tasters.

The product by the end of the cast is vastly superior to the product at the beginning.

Here's the other thing I'd say if people were serious...

Podcasts I've done have all been with people in the same location with a fancy mic and headphones and stuff. Is there an easy way to record high quality audio with people in remote locations? And how hard is it to have good chemistry with people if you're not in the same room?

This is a big deal IMO. You could have MLK Jr. on a podcast but if the sound quality is crummy, people will cut their ears off.

Could see what threads got the most action during a given week and touch on those topics during a weekly podcast. You'd almost certainly get some talk in about current events/politics, ND football, and recruiting, among other things. "IE Trending"

I would def want a "Post of the Week" segment.

Sometimes it could be discussion on a legitimately good post, and further exploration of the ideas therein.

Sometimes it could be discourse on a controversial/debatable post.

And sometimes you could absolutely just eviscerate a shitty post, for the entire IE community to hear.

And the occasional Brick post, too. PIIHB discussion on-air.

Added the bold. Sometimes you could sub out "news" for "discussion" just so it's not a rehash of what we've seen in simply keeping up with sports.
