I saw it last night. It was difficult to follow at times simply because the plot had to be rushed along to cover so much ground that TLJ should have dealt with. There are scenes that will make you laugh, and want to cry, and jump up and say "hell yeah!" There are also some head scratching scenes and eye-rollers but those are fewer and farther between. And Rey and Kylo are very good but then a couple times I thought, "Again, really?" Overall, B+. JJ had to wrap up 40 years of films in a way that made sense and was satisfying to fan boys and lay people alike. I think he did about as well as I could have hoped.

The pace was definitely quick but thought it was a very linear plot so I didn't feel like it was every confusing or difficult to follow. The end game was introduced right from the start and it was just a matter of how we were going to get there.

Wiz needs to update his base boards,... the way TLJ did Luke was one of the greater crimes in film history.

When a movie takes you to like 7 different planets its at least mildly confusing.

Just got a ticket to IMAX 2D (aka the best movie format) for tonight.

Emma Fyffe suuuuuucks. From what I gather, the only people who hate this movie are hardcore feminists.

Only a hardcore feminist could hate a movie where the lead of the movie is female and two women make out.

This blows. Most of the auditoriums in this theater have the dope wide leather power reclining seats. The IMAX auditorium does not, so my fat ass is crammed into a skinny little seat like I'm flying to Orlando on a 737. And they don't have a bar. What kind of shit movie theater does not have alcohol in 2019?

Oh and it's fake-ass IMAX. It's just a big screen, not the big domed awesome screen.

and not hot in the slightest.....it was a political point interjected; it was never meant to be 'hot'.

How is that a political point? It's just two characters in the background kissing in the celebration like everyone else. The movie doesn't stop on it or draw any special attention to it.

it's a political agenda thrown in the face of movie goers ala Holdo's exchanges with Poe in episode 8 --- if you want to go full Eric Butts and just consume the product without perspective, then go for it.

2 ppl kissing in a peak scene of the movie, a spot during the film where ALL EYES are watching; perfectly centered, lighted, front and center; yes. They wanted to make sure that it was a scene that was not forgotten/missed.

I'm not going to write 5 paragraphs explaining it, because I'm not interested in trying to change anyone's opinion. But just taking into account scenes from TLJ, Soylo (I assume, I'll admit I havent seen it), and Rise of Soywalker: 'Weekend at Palpatines'......If you say there is no political agenda in those scenes, then great for you. enjoy the trilogy.
