It was very entertaining and definitely worth the money to go see on the big screen. Go see it!
I saw it last night. It was difficult to follow at times simply because the plot had to be rushed along to cover so much ground that TLJ should have dealt with. There are scenes that will make you laugh, and want to cry, and jump up and say "hell yeah!" There are also some head scratching scenes and eye-rollers but those are fewer and farther between. And Rey and Kylo are very good but then a couple times I thought, "Again, really?" Overall, B+. JJ had to wrap up 40 years of films in a way that made sense and was satisfying to fan boys and lay people alike. I think he did about as well as I could have hoped.
The pace was definitely quick but thought it was a very linear plot so I didn't feel like it was every confusing or difficult to follow. The end game was introduced right from the start and it was just a matter of how we were going to get there.
Just got a ticket to IMAX 2D (aka the best movie format) for tonight.
Emma Fyffe suuuuuucks. From what I gather, the only people who hate this movie are hardcore feminists.

Only a hardcore feminist could hate a movie where the lead of the movie is female and two women make out.
You have my attention.

I think it's literally less than 2 seconds lol.
and not hot in the slightest.....it was a political point interjected; it was never meant to be 'hot'.

How is that a political point? It's just two characters in the background kissing in the celebration like everyone else. The movie doesn't stop on it or draw any special attention to it.
it's a political agenda thrown in the face of movie goers ala Holdo's exchanges with Poe in episode 8 --- if you want to go full Eric Butts and just consume the product without perspective, then go for it.
two people kissing is a political agenda?
