Michigan State athletics is about to get a massive facilities overhaul thanks to one of Tom Izzo’s former players.

Former basketball walk-on Mat Ishbia pledged $32 million for a significant expansion of the Spartans’ athletics facilities, including a new football facility and renaming the basketball court at Breslin Center after Izzo.

It also is expected to dramatically alter the look of the middle of campus, just south of Spartan Stadium.

Read that the Spartans had their NFL draft streak end at 80 years, which was the third longest active streak heading into this past draft.

Are these P5 coaches really this stupid? I almost wonder if teams get buyer's remorse on big contracts with guys like Tucker and Orgeron and they set them up so they can get out of paying.

Winning will cover a lot of sins. There's a few that it can't, but administrations are willing to overlook so many things when the team is winning and the boosters are happy.
