The only solace in this close loss to Georgia is the fact Michigan got beaten like a red headed stepchild when this was "Their year."
They looked really really really bad... Wowza.

LoL... Michigan man.
at what point is that no longer going to carry him? That fanbase gets what they deserve. Geez.

"I feel like we're very close offensively and very close to hitting our stride, hitting on all cylinders," he said. "Really good evidence to back that up and also what I see."
He must be blind. They've looked like trash against the only three reputable teams they've played, and I'm generously including Army in that three which is extremely generous, as they don't look as good this year.
They will roll to Champaign and crush the Illini, act like everything is peachy again, and then probably lose at Penn St ahead of our showdown in AA.
I simply think Lea will take Gattis to school early and often in a few weeks. There is a clear advantage for the Irish there.
So you're saying we have... a decided schematic advantage??
Yeah that's probably the best we can hope for. I'm with you, beat scUM tonight and keep them off the schedule forever!<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Michigan, Notre Dame add home/home series; 2033 at Michigan, 2034 at Notre Dame</p>— Brett McMurphy (@Brett_McMurphy) <a href="https://twitter.com/Brett_McMurphy/status/1188097763013255169?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 26, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Only saving grace is that it's 15 years from now, but in general I'm not a fan of having them on the schedule at all. If it's only a home-and-home once a decade or so I can live with that no.

By then, I'll have ran for President with a campaign promise of shuttering the Michigan football program by executive order.Look on the bright side, maybe they won't have a football program by then.

These players are going to be 34 before we face them again. What an awful time to not show up for a game.
I might be dead by then...awful time to not show up indeed.

We’ve been doing this for a while now and we need our space. We’re glad we could end on good terms, thank you for not being defensive. Let’s keep in touch and maybe we’ll try again in 14 years if you’re still independent. </p>— Michigan Athletics (@UMichAthletics) <a href="https://twitter.com/UMichAthletics/status/1188297632763928576?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 27, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Someone remind me why we are keeping them on the schedule at all? They always do chickenshit stuff like this. Brady Hoke's comments after we cancelled it the last time... completely lying about the situation... only to see us stupidly add them back on the schedule for no reason whatsoever. Then after announcing before the game that we're going to play them again -- and for no reason giving them the first home game -- we go get our asses kicked... and then they tweet something like this.
ND administration just sets the program up for failure. There is no reason to be playing Michigan, win or lose. They have always been assholes going back to the first time we beat them.

I mean...am I the only who thought it was kind of hilarious? I mean I hate Michigan but I'm not going to get my panties in a wad because they just owned us on and off the field. They earned that tweet. Crying about it only fuels their laughter.
