Dear Meatchicken,
Congratulations on beating Wisconsin in a close one this year. It was a big win for you. You guys are definitely back! Maybe even the best!

Sincerely,
Pat F.

...But it wasn't close?

Michigan beat Wisconsin 38-13.

Remember when our “friend” Mr. Haverford said UM was going to get Quavaris Crouch? So about that, not so much. At least it’s unanimous he’s going to Clemson at the present. F$Ck Michigan

I don't think Gary is coming back at all. He has a draft to look forward to.

Time for Michigan to get that "signature" win against an average Penn State team.

I actually heard that exact statement made this past weekend by one of the talking heads on ESPN. Since when is a win over an average team a "signature" win?

Never said they would get him. Said they were and continue to be a real threat to the SEC/ACC schools to land him. Quote from an article from North Carolina local newspaper from not even a week ago:

https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/high-school/article220565960.html

“I would say Michigan is No. 1, but the weather is crazy,” Crouch said. “I feel like Michigan and Clemson are tied for No. 1.”

Look at his recruitment for the last 1 and 1/2 to 2 years. At first it was Michigan and Alabama. Then Michigan and Tennessee. Now it's Michigan and Clemson. The one constant in his recruitment has been Michigan. Kid has openly talked about how much he loves Ann Arbor and the program but he's also talked about how he doesn't like the weather and the distance. He's visiting for Penn State game this weekend and is really their only official visitor for the week. The coaches asked him to change his visit from Wisconsin to Penn State just so they could have 1on1 time with him. He's already visited 3-4 times before, but they will really make their pitch and go all-in for him.

Disagree. Wisconsin has a great coaching staff. They aren’t used to losing games by double digits. I believe it had been 4 or 5 seasons since their last double digit loss.

This is obviously a down year for them, but they have been a very solid program ever since Barry Alvarez built them up in the 90s.

Nah. He’ll be back. Just going to take time. It’s already been 4 or 5 weeks and the rehab/rest was 4-6 weeks until a return. If not this week then he’ll probably be back next. His injury wasn’t as serious as Bosa’s and unlike Bosa he and his family actually take school seriously. No way his mother would ever allow him to withdraw from school to focus on the NFL draft.

Yea the genetics show Bosa's need to keep banging their heads off themselves and OSU's education for football players Is a complete joke.

This is why you don't care if Michigan wins out. SoS be damned, Michigan fans don't deserve to win. I enjoy having posters from other teams come and give differing opinions, it adds good discourse. Say what you will about the game overall, put blame on the coaches, but if you attack the kids it doesn't matter if you're an opposing fan or Irish fan, you're gonna get negged (Or banned in this case).

I'm off my SoS wagon at this point. Mainly because if we lose, I believe we're out.
Regardless, F Meatchicken. Hope Urbie puts them down hard.

If Patterson gets invited to New York for the Heisman, I think I will puke.

While Patterson is currently in the 4th spot as far as Heisman odds, he is a very distant 4th. I'm assuming they will only invite 3 Tagovailoa, Murray and Grier.

Patterson's had a nice year, but Book has more Yards/GM, TD/GM, Passer Rating, Rushing Yards, Rushing TD's. He's only 100 passing yards and 2 passing TD's behind him despite having basically 4 less games that he played.

Oh by the way, Book freaking outplayed Patterson against a common opponent despite playing with a broken rib and lacerated kidney for most of the game.

Bravo Mr Patterson.

More hype than substance.

Off the top of my head guys more deserving than what you listed....

Minshew, Haskins, D'Eriq King, Mckenzie Milton, J. Taylor, Travis Etienne and that has only been 15 seconds....

Just to clarify, I wasn't suggesting that Book should be a Heisman finalist, would be extremely unlikely not starting 4 games. I was just pointing out that Patterson's Heisman candidacy is all hype.

Oh I know. I love Book, but I wouldn't put him up there, but he would still be above Shea, which tells you all you need to know.

Honest question, where are you seeing this?

I looked up espn's list (http://www.espn.com/college-football/heisman/) and they dont have him anywhere near their 11 listed by the experts... Is it a vegas thing? because if that's the case could it be Michigan fans betting on him out of ignorance while every other fan realizes it's pretty much a 2 horse race between Murray and Tua?

As far as votes go, not a chance that Shea is close to competing/going to the ceremony.

I've seen quite a few articles referencing these same odds. Not sure where the odds come from, but I'm assuming it's Vegas.
