I guess I'm just not any more impressed with Shea Patterson and that offense than I was vs. ND. I watched their first game obviously and their last game. Shea is the same QB as week 1. The OL might be marginally better, but he was still getting pressured. I think their running game is probably stronger now? At least #22 looked good.

But we're good against the run and elite against the pass. I just don't see them scoring more than 17. And Book will get us 24 minimum I'd say.

Book is way better than Wimbush. Don't forget that. And we wouldn't run the ball well against them, but when we did block it well, Dexter will go off. You can't forget that.

Its pretty obvious to me: ND gets into the CFP if they run the table, and are left out if they dont. What Michigan does is irrelevant IMO.

With that said, hope they lose 2-3 games to end the season, and little cunts who only peek outside when the sun is shining
like Tom Haverford go back into hiding.

"Our five star QB threw a pass to our five star WR" get over yourself, dude.

We made your five star QB look like a PWO.

huge blow to 2019 and beyond.

Hudson was going to be in the mix to start next year. He's only a redshirt freshman that just converted from DL to OT and he was very close to winning the RT job over a fifth year senior Juwan Bushell-Beaty.

Lots of talk that he was upset he didn't get a shot to play at ND after Bushell-Beaty was a turnstile all game long and that once Bushell-Beaty got hurt against Sparty and Steuber went in to replace him over Hudson that that was basically it- Hudson basically told the coaches he was leaving that day after the game.

Really sucks. Hudson has big time potential. Very athletic big guy.

There's usually more to a Redshirt Freshman transfer in the middle of the season than that. Seems like he was listed as second string RT though Harbaugh's depth chart is probably guesswork. That's three transfers and one medical from the Class of 2017.

Thanks for sharing buddy!

Really appreciate all the insight you bring to this board about UM football. I look forward to it every day. I only wish I could bring half as much as you when I visit the UM board every day too.

Catching up on Michigan transfers - Drew Singleton, LB, also a RS Freshman from the Class of 2017 is also transferring, announced on Oct 17th. Singleton was the 80th ranked player nationally in that class. That's four transfers and one medical from that class of thirty enrollees.

Among the NCAA's new transfer rules, starting on Oct. 15, schools were no longer be able to block a transfer nor dictate where a player can go, unless their conferences have specific rules permitting that. The player will be entered into a NCAA database that keeps track of players who notify their coaches of their intent to transfer. Any school may then contact the player about transferring.

Four walkons were awarded scholarships before the season began. Michigan is currently at 83 scholarships total. They signed seventy-eight players in the three Classes of '16-'18. Their Class of '19 has twenty-three commits. Eleven seniors do not have eligibility left after this season.

Sounds like this new soap opera in Ann Arbor is ready to compete with with Days of Our Lives. The plot seems ripe with drama.

Is there a bigger bunch of bitches in CFB than Michigan? How does MSU get a fine but nothing happens to Michigan and Devin Bush after he essentially vandalized the MSU field? Harbaugh must Netflix and Chill with Delany...

Michigan State fined $10,000 by Big Ten

Right now it appears Harbaugh is Delany's best bet to lead the B1G back to the playoffs. But yeah... why fine one school and not the other? Better yet... why fine either school at all? It's a rivalry; not a homecoming dance.

Yup...MSU provoked the whole thing with their stupid arm-linked thing. Heard Harbaugh talking about it...he's a dumb-ass. No "news flash" there.

Does MSU do that before every home game or did MD just come up with this?

Every game. However, Harbaugh claims they did their best to schedule around it and whatnot, and claims that MSU purposely came out after their time to do it. The real "problem" is the fact that Dantonio was smiling 5 yards behind the line where the scuffle took place.

Nah it's still OSU. Urban Meyer, for all of his many flaws, is a far superior coach by many orders of magnitude. Meyer is the second best coach in the game. Harbaugh is the most over paid coach in sports and produces results in line with Dantonio. For the dollar value Dantonio is a better coach.

I didn't realize that Harbaugh has never won a conference title. I thought he won one at Stanford. The dude doesn't get it done in the big games. He didn't at Stanford, he didn't in the NFL, and he hasn't done it in Michigan.

Agree that OSU is the Big's best shot. I just don't see Hairball winning in Ohio.

I'm honestly thinking PSU might beat them at home next week. PSU has by far, the best O they've faced all year. Much more balanced than Wiscy.

It's going to be hard to win in Columbus. For sure. I still have a hard time seeing it.

But the teams are going in opposite directions. Tarik Black and Rashan Gary should be back very soon. That will be a huge boost to both their offense and defense. Ohio State is one dimensional right now. They can't run the ball and their defense has also flat out just been terrible without Bosa. It hasn't just been the Purdue game. Ohio State has struggled running the ball and playing defense all season.

S&P+ likes Wisconsin's offense a lot better than Penn State's. Wisconsin ranks 3rd in offense and Penn State ranks 18th.

Michigan State put the clamps on Penn State's offense in Happy Valley, and while Michigan State's defense is very good, it's not as good as Michigan's.

Don Brown has been circling this one on his calendar since that debacle last year. They have the week off to rest up and heal up, install some new wrinkles specifically for Penn State, meanwhile Penn State will have to be in a physical dog fight this Saturday with a very physical Iowa defense.

Don Brown on Penn State:

"They handed to us last year. I did a poor job. ... We've got two weeks to prepare."
Asked if he's had the PSU game circled for a while: "I wake up every morning and I think about it."
— Nick Baumgardner (@nickbaumgardner) October 22, 2018

Gary should probably be back and I have a feeling that their defense is going to be out for blood.

I like the two weeks off, but the biggest factor for me, is it's in Ohio. They were asleep vs Purdue, and I just don't see Urbie not having them ready for scUM. Also, Wiscy's O is completely one dimensional (a lot more than OSU). OSU, while not running well, is still inside the top 50 rushing, where as Wiscy isn't in the top 100 passing. Also still not on scUM's O. OSU is much better vs the rush than the pass. Will be curious to see how Patterson does if the game is on his back.

MSU states that their walk was to start at 945. They started their walk, which starts from the hotel I believe at 947, so they were 2 minutes late. The walk then ends with them getting to the stadium and going the length of the field. At least 1 of the walverines turned sideways to slip thru the line what appeared to be untouched. The other two did not. Also, MSU states that they warned players on the field prior and it was obvious what they were doing.
