I talked with my friend who works at Lucas Oil Stadium and he said there are strong rumors about Harbaugh leaving for the Colts as well as the Bears and one other team he cannot remember. He also said the problem is Harbaugh will want complete control which was the issue he had at San Francisco and the Colts will not give him full control.

Nope! Going to the Colts. Not wanted back in Chicago. He sucked as a QB for the Bears and he talked back to Da Coach.

BUT... He's the kinda guy who would rub Virginia McCaskey's feet and dog sit her Chihuahuas, Monster & Midway. So you never know.

Nah, there's a reason he left Chicago for Indy.

Wanny cleaned house. Showed Peter Tom & Hairball the door. Ushered in the Erik Kramer record breaking era. Should be in italics but it actually was record breaking.

Per Brady Quinn, Michigan working on LIFETIME DEAL with Coach Khaki

Report: Michigan Considering A “Lifetime Deal” For Harbaugh « CBS Detroit

He's practically got a lifetime deal now. The way that contract is currently structured. This is his gig for as long as he wants it. Essentially, who does Michigan get if the prodigal son can't bring them back. Currently, regardless of any other position, they have huge question marks at QB. Speight is not the answer, Ruddock was serviceable but a grad transfer, OKorn also a transfer but now you know why he was sitting in Houston, Peters is in concussion protocol and certainly nothing special to date. You have Malzone & Mcaffery left.

And while they might be a young team and return a lot of pieces next year, the OLine is still a train wreck. QB is nothing to get excited over and Don Browns defense has been exposed vs big time programs.

While I don't see Harbaugh going to the NFL any time soon, this is not going to end well for them.

This team/program is starting to mirror Florida. Can play defense but cannot do anything on offense.

So Speight & Malzone are transferring. O'Korn is graduating. That leaves Peters and Mcaffery. I see another 8-4 year. @ND and tOSU home vs MSU and PSU

FWIW, they've pulled out of the Shea Patterson sweepstakes. Bad news is, I could see him being the USC QB transfer, that is being rumored.

Not sure this really changes much outside of depth. The starting job was going to go to Peters or Mcaffery anyways.

Depth at QB where the projected starter is 3 games deep. The other hasn't played and who knows whats left. Good luck.

LOL, Harbaugh mad that he can't beat little brother.

Harbaugh must have bought the book "Tweeting for Dummies" written by Lane Kiffin.

How many losses to rivals will it take for either Harbaugh or the fanbase to snap?

Eh. Michigan finished about exactly where the S&P+ projected them to finish.

Bill Connelly of S&P+ fame explains:

https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/11/21/16683112/michigan-wolverines-football-2017-jim-harbaugh

Speight was bad last year and was probably the single biggest reason they didn't make the playoff. He was terrible against Iowa and he almost single handidly cost them that Ohio State game. Speight is not good. Never has been. He played horrible even when he was healthy. Aside from O'Korn playing out of his mind for a half against Purdue and yapping at Tony Levine every time he completed a pass- he wasn't just bad like Speight- he was worse than that- he was all-time bad. The only time they had a little bit of a spark at QB all year is when a redshirt freshman Brandon Peters was on the field.

They should be a much better team next year if they can figure out that OL. They have an excellent young CB tandem and the defense returns 9 starters. On offense Karran Higdon and Chris Evans emerged at RB in their second seasons. Don't know what took Jim so long to realize Higdon was better than Ty Isaac and the best back on the team. They have a lot of quality TE's and they are deep at WR. Donovan Peoples-Jones showed a lot of promise for a true freshman receiver and so did Tarik Black before he went down with a foot injury. Those two kids are future Sunday receivers. Jim needs to figure out that OL and find himself a QB, but he's got most of the pieces in place next year to have a really good team.

He's doing the best he can. Not like he's getting clowned in those games.

MSU got a gift from the Gods in 2015. They lost that game if not for one of the most miraculous plays with 8 seconds left in a game that you'll ever see.

Ohio State got a gift from the refs in 2016. JT Barrett was short on that 4th down. Game was over.

That piece of shit O'Korn started against MSU & OSU this year. Lost really close in both those games with that loser playing QB. No way they were winning with that scrub. I was SHOCKED those games were even close with that moron playing QB to be honest with you.

I think fans understand and are cutting him a break. Not like he's been getting clowned in those games. They all came right down to the end and he didn't have a QB in 2 of them. Going wildcat and having Chris Evans take all the snaps at QB those two games would've been better than O'Korn.

This is doubly appropriate because MJ is on the skunkbear jerseys.

Those are all really nice justifications... but a coach that is supposedly as good as Harbaugh probably should've mitigated or solved some of those issues, either in-game or on the recruiting trail and via development.
