He's doing the best he can. Not like he's getting clowned in those games.

MSU got a gift from the Gods in 2015. They lost that game if not for one of the most miraculous plays with 8 seconds left in a game that you'll ever see.

Ohio State got a gift from the refs in 2016. JT Barrett was short on that 4th down. Game was over.

That piece of shit O'Korn started against MSU & OSU this year. Lost really close in both those games with that loser playing QB. No way they were winning with that scrub. I was SHOCKED those games were even close with that moron playing QB to be honest with you.

I think fans understand and are cutting him a break. Not like he's been getting clowned in those games. They all came right down to the end and he didn't have a QB in 2 of them. Going wildcat and having Chris Evans take all the snaps at QB those two games would've been better than O'Korn.

The only thing that would've made me happier, is if it happened to pOSU.

Lay off that O'Korn kid. He's going to win an Emmy someday.

Those are all really nice justifications... but a coach that is supposedly as good as Harbaugh probably should've mitigated or solved some of those issues, either in-game or on the recruiting trail and via development.

I agree with you. He had misses on the 2015 trail and he should have never courted O'Korn.

He got the job with less than two months left before NSD of the 2015 class. Tried like hell to get a QB, they were all committed. He tried like hell to get Josh Rosen to give him a look, but Rosen turned him down. Best one Jim could flip was Zach Gentry, who really was more of a dual-threat runner than a passer. Gentry is playing TE now. He's a pretty good TE too by the way.

Biggest mistakes he made was not getting a QB in 2015 and accepting the O'Korn transfer. I don't know what the hell he was thinking, but anybody who watched O'Korn play at Houston and knew the story knew how it was going to end up. O'Korn just can't play. He had the worst ESPN QBR rating in FBS the year he got benched. And he got benched for a kid that was 5'9" and playing Wide Receiver the year before. Jim let his ego thinking he can "fix" any QB get in the way. There is no fixing something as broken as O'Korn. You can't polish a turd.

I love to see skunkbears console themselves with miracle finish only reason Sparty beat them in 2015. My response is how the heck was Sparty in a position where such a thing happening would win them the game? If UM was so good, they should have been up more than 8 so its not an issue, should have gotten a 1st down to kill the clock, should have been able to perform a punt play, etc.

Every team that loses on a last second play had opportunities to have the game be out of reach before said play. Exciting for the fans for years, you bet, people still watch the Cal highlight of the kickoff return and the Flutie to Phelan pass and the Iron Bowl return for a score...but if the other teams had put up more points or not let those teams score that or other times in the games, then its not even a question. The games are the length they are for a reason, if you want the games to be 5, 10, 30, or more seconds shorter, then get it codified.

PS F*ck Michigan

Everything else said, they're much better now than when he took over, at least in my opinion... I for one am expecting the worst come next season's opener.

So tell us a little about how you feel about O'Korn...

Classy look calling a student athlete names. It's one thing to criticize play. Does the slogan need to be changed to "Those that stay will be pieces of Shit?"

One could contend that this has always been the standard for Michigan Men.

this weekend I believe, and it's Shea Patterson, Deontay Anderson, and Van Jefferson all coming together this weekend. Those 3 have been confirmed.

Harbaugh flew down to Mississippi to meet with all 3 of them.

No word on Greg Little from either side. Sounds like even the Ole Miss insiders haven't heard from Little, he is MIA.

I've been trolling scUM fans about the transfer all afternoon on Twitter.

It's fun to rain on their celebration by reminding them that it was necessary because Harbaugh is overrated and can't recruit/develop his own QB's, nor is he able to finish better than 3rd in his division.

You had to mention that they played four ranked teams...and lost to them all!

Normally this would be posted under the recruit's name, but I cannot find a profile on him, so...

Michigan gets its first WR in the Class of 2018 and its 18th commitment for their class - Ron Bell from Park Hill HS, in Kansas City, Mo. Bell caught 89 passes for 1,605 yards and 21 touchdown. He is rated a three star recruit by 247, ranked as 225th best WR in the country and the 1517th best player nationally. Bell was mainly considered a basketball prospect, but, with his senior year performance, wants to pursue an athletic career in football. Bell decommitted from Missouri State after being offered a scholarship by Jim Harbaugh last weekend. This is Bell's first FBS scholarship offer.

Michigan also added Ben VanSumeren‏, the 48th ranked Athlete, rated as a three star, to its class, flipping him from Iowa. Ferentz wanted VanSumeran to play LB. VanSumeren was convinced by Harbaugh to sign with Michigan over the weekend. Harbaugh wants him to play on offense, reportedly at TE. VanSumeren at Garber H.S. in Essexville, set a Michigan state record with 85 regular-season receptions for 1,259 yards and 13 touchdowns – all after moving from quarterback in Week 3. He ran a 4.56 40.

Michigan has two TE commits already - Mustapha Muhammad, 5th ranked TE, and Luke Schoonmaker, 35th ranked TE.

think VanSmueren said he's coming in as a FB/H-back. He's not big enough to play TE imo. I liked that offer though, he's a talented athlete. He was committed to Iowa, and he's the type of kid Iowa routinely gets and winds up being a really good player and everyone says where the F did they find him??

That WR commit is baffling to me though. I really don't get it. At all. It was always going to be a little hard to land an elite WR recruit after taking 4 in the last class. But that commit was a total desperation move. Didn't like it.
