Can we just shut this thread down? At least until the next game is scheduled.

Nah, it's good to have a place to shit on Michigan. They're getting uppity, acting like a big boy with more than one national championship in the modern era. They think they're a more moral program than others, and yet screw student-athletes with abandon while protecting rapists and athletes guilty of assault. Living in Michigan, threads like this help keep me sane.

Well, we need to do more shitting on Michigan in here then to offset Harbaugh love from some individuals.

well I think the guy has a point. Butch should probably just stfu right about now and let things play out, try and stay out of the public eye. I have a feeling it won't end well for Butch. He's a mediocre coach to begin with, and now he's being looked into for allegedly trying to help cover up a rape and for calling a UTjr player a traitor for helping a girl who claims she was raped. Not very good things to be accused of. Like I said, just accusations, but there's a lot of smoke around UTjr right now, that whole thing could be turning into a dumpster fire fast, and where there's smoke there's usually fire.

Glass houses my man...

Isn't it interesting how Michigan is the only northern school (that I could find) with a building celebrating a KKK booster in the 21st century?

I love Harbaugh. I love all the shit he causes. The best part though is that he can back it up. You can see how kids can buy into the man.

Once again Michigan having trouble with spell check on recruiting items

Jim Harbaugh farts in public

Runs to IE to post it

Good point, GB!

I will take it a step further. It is not just that Jim Harbaugh acts juvenile. It is that he has serious boundary issues, comes off like he has other behavioral, and personality issues. Some have suggested Asperger's. Others have had similar guesses.

My guess is what is commonly called borderline personality disorder. Seriously. Just think of it manifesting in his case with a minimum of the usual polished social skills. But he has the charisma. How could he get a way with climbing a tree at a seventeen year old's house to gain admittance for a 'sleep over?' Or talk trash to an SEC coach. People that act that pedantic are usually ridiculed?

This is certainly true at least with those that show a chauvinistic, maniacal love for him, (All things Harbaugh.) You know, like most Michigan fans.

Michigan won't be able to replace Notre Dame with another annual rival, as business trumps tradition (Sept 7, 2013)

Brady Hoke:
It's a great rivalry game, and it's always a lot of fun.
Greg Mattison:
This is special. It’s a special deal.

Bo said:
"I don't know whether (this game) is in the best interests of Michigan, because Michigan should be pointing to Iowa, or Michigan State, or Ohio State."
Responding to his players excitement about playing ND, Bo said:
Then you've got to say, 'Okay, men, we're going to shoot for Notre Dame, but I'm going to tell you something: Notre Dame is a non-Conference game, and we'll always play it like that.

Michigan has scheduled SMU ('18) and Army ('19) in the Big House rather than a home-and-home with Notre Dame. Army gets $1.5 million for their buy-in game.

I applaud the scUM posters that are unsettled about the possible phony medicals. Some posters want to go the other route to keep up with the Jones's and that's not right. I'd like to think we haven't done that, simply based on the fact we can never actually GET to 85 come the start of a season, but time will tell. I think at some point coaches and ADs have to look at themselves and decide "Is this ethical?" When you bring a kid in and commit 4 years to him (Obviously not all schools provide 4 year scholarships), and the kid wants to play and is physically able, I don't see how you can turn him away from the field after he's given you so much. That's his team, those are his brothers, he should be playing with them if he has the desire and the ability. If he's physically unable, or no longer wants to play, then obviously it's fine for him to step away. That's certainly not always the case though, as we saw with that kid that Urban tried to medical before he even reached campus.

Look at a guy like Jarrett Grace. I think a lot of programs would have medical'd him in a heartbeat after that leg break, but there was a chance he could bounce back from it and we gave him that chance. As it turned out he was very helpful in games last year against Navy, as well as spelling injured players at times. You could tell in interviews how much the team meant to him and how much he enjoyed playing the game. I can't imagine taking that away from one of your guys as a "business decision."

To be fair, we are never at 85 anyway, so we don't need to cut scollys.

You information was accurate when written, but since that time Michigan has beaten us in hockey at the Midwest Regional 3-2.

ND gives out four year scholarships. From the time you commit. Whether you play a down or not.

That is the whole ball game.

Fake physicals don't come into the conversation with a school that has that kind of integrity, and responsible service to their athletes.

Fuck the livin' shit outa Michigan!

Remaking Michigan's WR corps

Remaking Michigan's WR corps

Michigan signed five WRs in the Class of 2016.

Before NSD, Ex-WR Brian Cole, who had been moved to DB, was "released from his scholarship" after one year at Michigan. Cole is now at Kentucky.

Since NSD,

Da'Mario Jones (3rd string) became a graduate transfer (to Bowling Green) at the end of February. Jones was a member of the Class of 2013 and on Michigan's roster for three years, finishing his degree early.

Jaron Dukes is now a "medical retire". He played in one game in 2015 and was not listed on their depth chart.. Dukes was a member of the Class of 2013.

Freddy Canteen, who played in five games last year, has had shoulder surgery and is not on Michigan's roster. Canteen has been moved to multiple positions by the new staff. He was not listed on Michigan's depth chart at the end of 2015. At least one site speculates that his Michigan football days are over and may be pursuing a transfer. Canteen is a junior.

Maurice Ways (2nd string) began spring practice, but a foot injury has required surgery.

Pending notice on Freddy Canteen's status, Michigan is at eighty-five scholarship players. Dytarious Johnson, who committed but has not signed yet with rumored academic issues, is not yet counted. One of Michigan's commits, Benjamin St-Juste, a CB from Montreal, who committed in June 2015 to the Class of 2016, was "reclassified" as a member of the Class of 2017 in September. St-Juste will be an early enrollee in January 2017 - almost as if he grayshirted.
