Offers pulled - Erik Swenson, Rashad Weaver and Matthew Falcon publicly announced. Falcon said his offer was pulled due to season-ending injury.
Victor Viramontes (Ca) - QB/Ath, probably had his offer pulled - twice.
Mich site had him rejoining the class on Signing Day, quoting him as having "great news" for Michigan and said he was a "silent". Then he did not sign and did not return their phone calls for a clarification.
David Reese wanted Early Entry, but was told three weeks before the spring semester that he could not have EE. Reese was an offer by Hoke.
Messiah DeWeaver - was the second QB commit in the class and decommitted after Harbaugh recruited Zach Gentry as a transfer. He could see that he would be the seventh QB on the roster. DeWeaver was Michigan State's only QB with this class and was EE.
"Slow played" by coaching staff - Sir Patrick Scott, Antwaine Richardson (also had injury requiring surgery) and Kiante Enis. All were January decommits as communication by the Michigan staff ended. The class was filling up.
Dele Harding (Md) never indicated why he decommitted in October after being committed for a year. After visits to lesser B10 schools - Md, Rutgers and Illinois, he signed with Illinois. Offered by Hoke.
Only two - Jordan Elliott and Devery Hamilton - were late commits with high rankings that changed their minds. Elliot went to Texas. Hamilton went to Stanford.

“I have never had that happen to any of my kids, but I think it’s a new phenomenon,” Battle Creek Central football coach Lorin Granger said. "I talked to a couple coaches at the clinic this weekend, and it sounds like it’s becoming the new wave of doing things, but that ticks me off, it really bothers me. A lot of schools are getting commits from kids, but then brushing them off if they are getting a prettier girl they can take to the dance. It really bothers me.”
