Prediction: Michigan will beat OSU if Ruddock is still healthy.

It is in our place, Harbaugh will have had a full season to bring Rudock along, and that one guy that caught a pass last week may be good by then. We also have that freshman that did that one thing in that one game.

This could have been a good game if osu could have gotten out of their own way.
I'm still none too impressed with anything other than Jake Butt and Peppers.

Harbaugh brings hope, but Michigan State is 'place to be' | College Football

The homecoming Michigan fans had longed for ended exactly the way any Wolverine would have drawn it up: A Big Blue blowout sent Michigan fans home happy and high on Jim Harbaugh.

The undercard over, it was time to trek 64 miles west for the main event in the Great Lakes State on Saturday. Michigan may be optimistic about restoring Ann Arbor's esteemed place in college football. But its in-state rival wants to make clear the Spartans are living in the present, and playing for championships.

"I just think this was the place to be in this state today," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said after the fifth-ranked Spartans beat No. 7 Oregon 31-28. "Very exciting atmosphere. Spartan Stadium was rocking."

For years the Big House was the place to be, and now that Harbaugh has come home to coach Michigan it could be again. First, though, the Wolverines have to reclaim the state title.

Michigan needs Notre Dame

Michigan needs Notre Dame

Mgoblog has an article detailing falling ticket prices for games, including whether to wait for continued drops in prices or to buy now. They expect this week's home game against UNLV to be free and to get tickets at the game. The BYU game is "a dog" already below face value with recommendation to wait until game time. Rutgers tickets are $12. Penn St tickets went from $145 to $80. Ohio St tickets have dropped from $217 to $130. Oregon State fans were recommending to wait and buy tickets at the game.

When last we went to Ann Arbor, their AD said they could have sold out the stadium three times over.

Michigan State would be a better rivalry to renew.

ND vs MSU is just on a planned hiatus. They play in 2016 & 2017 then off again until 2026 & 2027.

I would be very surprised if that were to happen. Although, as someone who despises UM and its inbred fan base, I'd love to see it.

I'll be surprised if Harbaugh doesn't stay at least 3 years, but it would be hilarious if he left relatively soon or UM wanted him gone like San Fran.

Wednesday afternoon, Indy Sports radio show Query & Schultz were talking to someone (wasn't Le Batard) with NFL connections about possible replacements for Pagano. They asked him to put a number between 1-10 on how solid the rumor was. Even with the chance to coach Luck again, the guy put Harbaugh at a 3.

I wouldn't mind him coaching the Ponies, but you know the Colts would be looking for another coach after 3-4 years.

Maybe not. If he succeeds, I doubt he'd go anywhere for a while. Already done the NFL, already done his Alma Mater, and the Colts would be the team he played QB for.

I personally think Pagano will be there for at least another year if he gets to the playoffs. I know, I know, I know the contract situation,,, but just my gut

PS.. I'd give it about a 2

Even if Harbaugh doesnt win a NC at Michigan I believe he will be happy to have restored where the program was before this last black hole. I would say he plays out his contract and then heads back to the NFL.

yup I think if Harbaugh can restore the Schembechler/Carr Michigan man coaching tree for a few years until someone else can take over then he will be happy. They could always hire David Shaw down the line if they wanted to also or finally take Les Miles.

Personally I'm not sure why Pagano is under any heat. It should be Grigson. He's just like Polian. Find a good LT, then fill in the rest of the O-line with 6th/7th rounders, FA's and pray they turn out. Except for 2-3 years when Manning was here, the Colts O-line has always been crappy for the last 15-18 years.

I don't think Les leaves LSU for Michigan. He'll have to be ousted from LSU before he leaves there for the Wolverines. Other than his problems with QBs, he's got his pick over most of Louisiana's talent and can reach into other southern states at times. Sure, Ohio and some of the other Midwestern states can be fertile recruiting grounds for Michigan, but Les definitely has a better setup at LSU. Biggest problem being at LSU is you're in the same division as Saban at 'Bama and a couple other decent SEC West teams. Michigan probably has easier competition, but you still have to go through Urban and the Buckeyes which isn't a picnic either. I think LSU is the lesser of two evils if I'm Les Miles.

Was surfing for a few ideas for game day signs for next week, and saw this little nugget.

No one's won an NC at Michigan since Hitler was in power (possibly at Michigan). It probably won't happen in our lifetime.
