Is Michigan even favored in that game?? lol

btw, this mentality drives me nuts... any team not 'name' or currently ranked in the top ten is 'cupcake'... it's the same thought process that throws Navy in the same box with low tier FCS schools...

Agreed.
In reality, there are no such thing as a cupcake in major college football. Anybody can beat anybody on any given Saturday. Anybody with a little college football gambling experience would tell you the same thing haha.

And some FCS teams can and will beat Div 1 programs  [cough cough] Appalachian State [cough cough]

Kornacki: Ryan Glasgow Defies Odds to Earn Scholarship

"Mike DeBord gave it to me before he went to Tennessee. He said, 'Ryan, you are getting a scholarship. You might want to go over to (the) compliance (office) and sign some papers.'

"It means a lot. It's validation for all the hard work you put in. And now my parents don't have to pay for it -- which is awesome. Obviously, out-of-state tuition at this university is pretty high."
The Glasgow brothers (Ryan, a DT, and Garrett, a Center) are from Illinois.

Ryan is 6-4, 300 pounds. Graham is 6-6, 301 pounds. The power and size they pack into their confrontations has become legendary among teammates.

"It's gotten a lot more professional as the years have gone on," said Ryan Glasgow, who turns 22 on Sept. 30. "Before, it was real personal, like if I got the best of him there was a lot of rubbing it in his face. Or, it was feeling pretty (honked) off that you got your ass beat by your brother that day.

"But it's gotten real professional, and more to football as we've gotten older. You look at it like, 'That's not going to happen again in practice.' It's like you beat me on that play, but I'm going to come back at you. But it's pretty cool going against my brother each day, and making each other better."

I hate Michigan more than hemorrhoids. The only reason Harbaugh closed training camp to the reporters is because he knows his team sucks. Utah is going to make skunkbears look like a high school team.

I asked a buddy who is a Michigan fan if they named a starting QB. His response was either Morris who looked like crap last year or the guy that I forgot his name. LOL michigan fans are clueless.

You know they are going to spend 2+ seasons trying to play "manball" between the tackles when they don't have the personnel to do it. Gonna be hard watching them until Harbaugh gets his guys in

michigan fans i know have a huge ability to lose interest when the team isn't doing well lol. they are the worst turncoat fanbase i have ever seen

Everyone in the Ann Arbor area expects Rudock (the transfer from Iowa) to start, but some argue for Morris so he gets more experience.

Rudock has played more games of CFB than Morris. The only extra experience Morris would have in Harbaugh's system is spring ball

That's what I was saying, some don't expect to have a huge improvement this year so they argue that Morris should start so he can get more exeprience since Rudock only has the year left.

Because if they don't go 12-0 and win the BIG Championship AND the NC, the season will be a failure. Some of these turds at MGoBlog really are something special.

Shane Morris won't beat out John O'Korn or Zach Gentry next year IMO.

From all of the press they get anymore, aren't they now the University of Harbaugh, home of the Fighting Harbaughs?

like it's Michigan or it's fans fault that the media is obsessed with Jim Harbaugh?

I'd rather not have to hear about my coach every other day. I think the people in the media can't stop covering the guy because he's such a character. It's also a huge story. I honestly can't ever think of 50 year old, successful, proven NFL head coach leaving the NFL to go to the college game. It just doesn't happen. It's sort of unprecedented. Typically speaking, successful NFL coaches stay in the NFL.

Bobby Petrino went back to college because he was a massive failure at Atlanta. Steve Spurrier went back because he was a colossal failure in Washington. Nick Saban went back because he was a failure in Miami. Mike Riley went back to college because he failed in San Diego. Butch Davis went back to UNC after failing in Cleveland. These guys were all great college coaches, went to the NFL and had horrible W-L records in the NFL which forced them to go back to college.

Pete Carroll failed came back dominated then successfully went back to NFL.

That's unusual IMO.

Harbaugh was run out of town because he's nuttier than squirrel shit. I don't think that's unprecedented. Most NFL coaches stay there because they can control a team of adults.

Tom,

You may say that, but in forums and comment sections all over the internet scRUm fans think they are the returned God Kings of CFB and see no reason they can't compete for the NC this year and multiple years in the future.

Harbaugh's a friggin weirdo, but he's a phenomenal coach, and I could see a lot of ND fans acting the same way UM fans are if he or Meyer came to coach us. Dude has earned his reputation as being one of the best in the game IMHO and I think he'll do a great job there. I think he'll piss a lot of people off, but he doesn't care. It's worked for him so why should he?

I also think they won't be very good this year. And if they are good, that's a bad sign for the rest of the Big 10 (and it will make recruiting even harder for us), bc he'll have them better faster than they should be.

We all know how this ends. As ND fans and UofM haters, they go 10-2 or 11-1 and we go 8-4 or 7-5

haha yep, seemingly Utah, Oregon State and BYU are all "should win games". No chance they beat any of these teams right?

I think tonight's game will determine everything. They lose tonight, I could see a complete freefall.
