Michigan tears are delicious. I like how some people are still pulling for Hoke to win out (They must think Penn State was some turning point) and '15 will be his breakout year.
We have the talent to go 10-2
I don't think he's wrong. They play in the Big Ten.LOLZ
How did they pair something awesome like Irish with something shitty like Michigan?
Because it's Minnesota.......
Them could just be fightin' words.
I'll have to check my Minnesota Nice Handbook.
If Paul Bunyon and Babe show up at your door to stomp your Hoosier ass, you'll know who sent them.
Why, why, why ...
I'd hit him with a participial phrase to the right jaw. Then a gerund phrase to the gut. I'd finish him off with a a series of Oxford Commas jabs to the chin.
I'll take all the support in my corner I can get, though.
Big board of regents meeting today at UM....among the topics to be discussed was the whole Shane Morris and concussiongate. Apparently every varsity coach at the school (including Hoke) signed some letter saying what a great AD Dave Brandon is....
Believe me.....I would hate to see Hoke go, but as long as Brandon is still AD, that program would still be in trouble
Seriously. The guy is a PR genius. I mean who could have come up with the "purchase a Coke and get free tickets to our home game against Purdue."
Well to be fair that wasn't a Michigan promotion.
Well...technically, Coke purchased a block of tickets and ran the publicity stunt for the Minnesota game , not Purdue (my bad). Brandon said it was not approved (but yeah... not buying that one). So it did happen, and they honored the tickets that were sold as part of it.According to the school, Coca-Cola purchased a block of tickets for the promotion, which was apparently not given the green light before it ran.
"Coke is a great partner of ours and had purchased a limited block of tickets for the Minnesota game for a Coke retail activation aimed at Michigan students," a Michigan spokesman said in an official release. "Due to a miscommunication in the approval process, this promotion should not have run as is.
"As a result, it is being pulled immediately. However, all purchases to date will be honored by Coke."
Devin Schott, a student manager at one of the stores in the student union offering Cokes-for-tickets, told CBS Local Detroit that the deal was "embarrassing" for the football program.
"It definitely doesn't reflect well on the program and how well we're doing – for sure,” Schott said. “It's honestly kind of embarrassing that that can even happen. It's definitely not a positive outlook.”
Michigan and Minnesota are scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday in the Big House. The Wolverines are currently 10.5-point favorites in the contest.
