He has been a skunkbear lean for awhile. Really close friends with Bosch too.

They have truly a fantastic class right now. How many more spots do they have left to fill?

It's not a Rochell vs. Poggi issue - it's a "wow, that's almost too much talent to screw up" issue.

Assuming they land Treadwell (very likely it seems), but miss on their other top guys and fill the class with low 4*/high 3* guys (5.8), their class ranking will finish with 2729 points on the Rivals scale. That's good for the #1 class each of the last two years, although still behind our 2008 class (which was 2nd).

Hoke has done a great job getting in early on these guys. We need a big win against these guys to sway some momentum in future years.

It will be a amazing class for sure, guarantee a top 5. but if they start losing and Hoke says "no you can't visit other schools" a few decommitts will likely happen

You're pretty on the money, from what I hear Michigan would also like to pick up a RB (Green) then a best available. 23-24 spots available.

Why do none of your baddies stay on board and take up spots???? Looking at you, Posada. And thank you very much for posting a number, I had been insanely curious.

Cravens is announcing this week I believe, where would IE like to see him go? USC or U of M (my money is on SC)

I know the board was fairly happy that Ty went to SC instead of Michigan, what about now?

Hard to even weigh that decision since Cravens is such a USC lock. Suppose my indifference at that means I'd rather him there than in Ann Arbor, though.

How do you respect UM?

Or shall I rephrase that: why?

Good school, they seem to do it the right way... at least in comparison to other 'powers' out there... tOSU, SC, Bama, Florida... I would say they don't value academics and such like Notre Dame does, but a hell of a lot more than the average 'football school'... great tradition, no major scandals I can recall... I really don't know what makes one not respectUM...

That is the difference between UM and SC imo

The history of bigotry and lack or morals when tasked with playing a beefy Rockne squad has me forever hating them: even more than a cheating Petey SC squad.

Proximity?

May have something to do with it for all I know... Most of the big Um haters here seem to be from the mid west,... I am obviously from LA...

we all have our things... I am definately stuck on a few things with SC for sure...

I can get in on this. I mean, **** 'em but still. I actually have caught myself from time to time saying good things about USC, academically. I had a few college buds try and get in for Grad School and didn't. An in-law got into USC with a full ride and ND with pay his own way. Obviously, he chose USC.

Regardless, once I catch myself, I throw my balls in a vice grip and crank that sum B like no other. Don't worry guys, I got this!

Everyone is different... I have never hidden the fact that I often root for the teams that seem to value the college side of college football (why I'm still a Notre Dame fan)... in the Big10 UM seems to be one of the better ones for sure, especially out ot the big teams... I often root for them due to this. I understand some can't stand the fan base and I get that... to each their own.

1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000x's THIS!

The amount of times in this rivalry that UM has told us to go eff ourselves is enough for me to NEVER respect them. It's no secret that throughout our history, that damn school has completely and utterly disrespected us time and time again. Were it not for the revenue we create for them, I honestly don't think they would play us anymore.

They're pansies, simple as that. Refused to play us during the Rockne, Leahy, Parseghian and Devine eras. NO respect for that school!

I kinda think the new administration there is different. They're a bit more dedicated to playing a real out of conference schedule (like their game with Alabama next year), and haven't denigrated the rivalry as much as priors. They chose us for their first ever night game for instance, which was neat. That could have easily ended up being OSU or something.

On the other hand, I disagree UM cares any more about academics than anyone else. They'll take anyone who gets past the NCAA clearinghouse. The school may be respected, but it's not like ND, Northwestern, or Stanford, which actually require something of their athletes. They take the exact same players as Alabama or Florida do.

Took the committment of a long snapper so now they are at 21 commits. Their boards are totally confused as am I.

The only way we have a shot at Treadwell I feel is if he continues to play out the process and they pick up another quality WR. They should only have about 2-3 spots left.

I think they save for Green and Treadwell but it can't hurt!

Green as in Derrick Green or another Green? I don't follow Michigan all that closely.
