Man the more i think about it he would be a perfect guy for Manti to groom into taking his spot when he graduates...a sideline to sideline guy that can lay the wood.
He could just a have a November or December birthday."I played my junior year at 15 years of age, so I am still learning and developing in all aspects of my play. I am always looking to improve."
this is a quote from him on scout.com... Is he one of those super young high schoolers? Like Stovall was? Or is this a mis-print?

As exciting as it has been to have been recruited and offered by so many outstanding universities, it is equally difficult in narrowing down this amazing list to just five schools. As a 16 year old, this is one of the toughest things that I have ever had to do. My parents have encouraged me, after doing my extensive research...to just follow my heart.
Guy who always had really good information on Rivals with recruits said he's staying quiet on Davis until after his announcement.

Question: would Noor Davis ever play ILB or is he strictly an OLB prospect?
Apparently, Bill King (formerly of Rivals, now 24/7) had JC Shurbertt on his radio show and it was stated that he believes Noor will choose ND tomorow based on the timing and his previous discussions with Noor. Take it FWIW.
I haven't read an opinion from the coaching staff, but with his measurables, speed and intelligence I think he would be a great guy to groom into Manti's replacement.
glad you haven't heard anything from the coaches because i think that's illegal.
coaches aren't allowed to talk about recruits to members of the media until signing day.
strange rule, but it's a rule and unlike most other schools we tend to follow them.
He's 16.
Pulled from another board...I don't know the poster or his posting history but thought it interesting:
Speculation on another site:
"I know I am going to get lambasted for this and I never have done this before so cut me some slack. I can't reveal who I heard this from but it is someone who my brother is friends with that is close to Davis ( my brother is a social worker that helped a family member get through a rough time - the friends family, not Noor's). He is coming to ND...done deal from what I have been told. Loves the 3-4 and Diaco. Also feels ND will win a NC very soon and Tuiit and Lynch will allow him to excel on the outside."
To go along with what NDinLA said, remember that this kid is from Cali. USC is very much in the mix.
.My guess in the end is that he does choose ND. Im not going to speculate further on why, it's just a gut feeling. After reading the full speech he gave last night, I've never been more impressed with the words of a 16 year student athlete. What wins it in the end in my mind:
ND's mixture of religion and strong academics. His family was with him on the trip and loved the campus. He spoke very highly about the fact that he was able to spend eight hours alone with the coaches. This kid is Irish. If not now, by signing day.
Here is the radio podcast I mentioned with Billy King and JC Shurbertt:

Note: JC talks Noor, ND's recruiting prowess, and some '11 and '12 commits such as Aaron, Counsell, Darby, and Ferguson.
