I don't think anybody should've ever been skeptical of his abilities as a LT coming out of college. He was a hell of a player. He wasn't quite Jake Long, but he was the closest thing that Michigan had had since. What they should've been skeptical of was his character/personality. Tons of red flags there. And the guy was maybe the most penalized OL that I've ever seen at Michigan. And they weren't holding or off-sides calls. He was good for a personal foul a game it seemed like. I won't say dirty player- but he was damn close to it. There's no need to go that route when you're that good. He was suffering from Ndamukong Suh syndrome in college.

He was dirty as they come. Guess we could blame it on the chicken he was eating at the dining hall. I honestly thought that he would get taken out in the pros once he got there. But he has done well for himself so kudos to him.

John O'Korn isn't telling the whole truth there. He liked a tweet of MSU schill/ESPN host Jemele Hill's about Harbuagh where she said as if she needed another reason not to like Michigan or something along those lines.

O'Korn asked for the backlash when he did that. And every fan base has idiots on twitter. Not just Michigan's.

O'Korn really should be grateful to Harbaugh for giving him a shot and sticking by him, because that kid is a bum of a football player. Just absolutely terrible.

But he’s one hell of a flopper. He should switch to soccer. He’s that good.

agree 100%. O'Korn is bitch made. One of the biggest gripes I had with Harbaugh last year is that he even played O'Korn. He should've went to Peters after Speight got hurt and after Peters got hurt he should've burned McCaffrey's redshirt.

I believe it's 'bitch maid', unless we're calling player's mother's into question now for their douche sons.

Honestly, fuck UCF tho. They played one Power 5 team all of last year. One! And it was freaking Maryland.

They have 8 conference games and with those other 4 they should be trying to schedule top tier Power 5 schools if they want a shot at the playoffs. Don't play nobody and the bellyache about getting left out.

5 conference champs, 3 at-large teams. If you can't earn your way into one of those 3 at-large spots as a Group of 5 school then tough beans.

I get that sentiment but if that's the case, just publish the list of teams who are eligible for the playoffs. If going undefeated (and being the only undefeated team) against your schedule doesn't get you close to the playoffs, then just be upfront about it. Maybe by eliminating most teams before the year starts it will get them to schedule better.

A lot of power 5 teams don't like scheduling teams like UCF because they could lose and how bad it will look. Im sure UCF just like other G5 teams would like to play more P5 teams.

That would require the gift of foresight. Grading Alabama, anyone would've given them high marks last year for scheduling preseason #3 FSU and laugh at them for scheduling 1-11 Fresno State. Only one of those teams was actually ranked going into conference champ week.

Yeah, that comes hand-in-hand with Barstool also being run by a UM alum. Portnoy is a jackass.

according to ESPN. Michigan has 4-5 of the top players in the country..
College football preseason player rankings Ed Oliver leads way

May as well pencil this one in as a loss I guess

But seriously, the hype around Patterson is insane. All I can hope is that instead of ND making unheralded players look unstoppable, we finally make a heralded player look mediocre. Would love to rain on Patterson's coronation right off the bat.

Sam Darnold still has nightmares about 10/21/17.

I dont think you know how to read odds and lines bro... It was ND -6 it is now UM -2.

Right. His point was if ND performs better as an underdog then us not being favored from originally being favored is moving in the right direction, bro.

Shea Patterson at 25? That’s insane.

The dude has so much pressure on him from the UM folks, and media alike, it’s gonna be impossible for him to live up to the expectations.
Hell scUM fans are expecting him to 30-30, 700 yrs 6TD’s 0 INT’s or sacks against ND
I mean they really think this guy will look like Tom Brady in his prime. They are all just catagorcally and certifiably Koon level insane.

I stopped reading when I saw Tua Tagliavia just outside the Top 10. Credit him for coming off the bench and playing well in the championship game, but he was the backup all season. Nobody really knows how he will play out and if he'll even be the starter.
