Game. Blouses.
I don't think Utah played their best game. Michigan has some talented guys (Darboh, Butt, Chesson, Peppers, Bolden) but their QB, OL, and DL are killing em.
The announcer got all excited a flag was thrown on the onside kick. Does he not realize the kick went out of bounds causing a flag to be thrown?
Michigan would be dangerous with a QB. Although Utahs play calling was very suspect.
Half of Mgoblog was predicting 10-2. I get way to much enjoyment from this.
Most of my friends around campus are hoping for 9-3, predicting 7-5.
I think, above all else, Michigan fans just want a team that competes and plays hard all 60 minutes--unlike last year's squad. I think they showed tonight that they will do that. But talent-wise, they are a 7 win team.
Peppers and Butt, however, are two of the best in the game.
Now on to real cfb....can't wait for Saturday night...
Why do M people keep saying that? They were the ones who kept pointing out that they were getting 4 & 5 star recruits.
I wonder if Tom Haverford who was all over this board this week will be back with his thoughts.
Horrible call by the ref. Should have been inside the 5.
Here's the thing, M fans were screaming to take out Ruddock (sp?) and put in Morris. Harbaugh didn't even put Morris in at the end. So how close really was the QB competition and/or how poor is he comparatively speaking?
As someone was saying (Sherm?) not sure if Utah just isn't as good as I thought or if Michigan played better than I thought. Butt is an NFL starting TE.
I think Utah is who we thought they were. They beat the spread against a hard fighting Michigan team. If they wouldn't have had that dumb penalty (which UM converted into a TD) and missed two FG's, this game could have been a blowout.
But even without that... They still beat the spread.
