Wtf I love Lindsey Graham now.
Oh boo fucking hoo, YJ. At least the GOP nominee got a chance to have his ass handed to him. The GOP completely blocked Obama's conservative nominee.
Not getting a hearing =/= Being publically accused of gang rape and having your name dragged through the mud for an entire week with the mainstream media complicit in the process
We learned today that Ford cannot remember: - Time/date/location of party - Who drove her to party - Who was at party - Who pushed her into room - Who drove her from party - Date/who paid for her polygraph - Grandmother's funeral date? But "100% sure" it was Kavanaugh 36 yrs ago

I liked this one..."Believe all women" (except the ones Bill Clinton raped) - Liberals.
And the Keith Ellison accuser, she is not to be believe under any circumstance either. Matter of fact, the left is working hard to suppress her first amendments rights as they do with anyone that has a differing opinion other than their own.
Every single BS political statement that the Democrats have said with regards to 'believing Ford', should 100% be applied to Keith Ellison's accuser. Verbatim, 1 to 1. The leftist 'believe all women' policy fails spectacularly here.
The dems hypocritically disregard anything, and everything that the Keith Ellison accuser has said. She has not got a chance to testify, no FBI investigations for her, no one is 'believing her' as that wack-job from Hawaii says to.
Always turn everything a leftist does and says against them; Always let a leftist open their mouth and virtue-signal how 'virtuous and just' they are (they are dying to do this, you can even bait them into doing it), then use that very same statement and twist it back on them by applying it to a leftist idea, policy, political philosophy, or politician. it's a great debate strategy to use to shatter their moral authority.
You will find that lefty-logic severely fails, and their unchecked hypocrisy is rampant. After you shatter their moral authority, and get past their name-calling, they got NOTHING after that.
Keith Ellison is done in the democratic party. He won his statewide election because the allegations came out like the day of the election and it takes time for that to move through the system, but he's done. He should resign but if he doesn't it's not a lifetime appointment and he'll get primaried.
thats not 'believing his accuser"
Why are the dems not believing his accuser?
Obviously implicit in my statement that he's done is that a critical mass of people, including me, believe his accuser. Anyway, isn't the dem position on Kavanaugh that there should be a full blown investigation that includes the testimony of potential witnesses like Judge? Isn't Ellison being investigated right now? Seems pretty internally consistent to me.

say what you want. I have not seen one democrat publicly say that they believe Ellison's accuser. But they hypocritcally got no problem in believing Ford, and have the audacity to tell us to "Shut up and believe all women"
The logic is not sound.....
Asked whether Democrats would be more credible in their pursuit of an investigation of the allegation against Kavanaugh if they were outspoken about similar charges against Ellison, Hirono said a probe into Ellison's behavior is appropriate.
"I have been very clear that I make no excuses for anybody who engages in this kind of behavior. And, as far as Keith Ellison, these allegations need to be investigated, and appropriate action taken," Hirono told CNN "State of the Union" anchor Jake Tapper.
I mean also look at what happened with Franken... it's just not credible to say Dems aren't coming after their own on this stuff. Also, look at Gorsuch. When you spend your childhood not sexually assaulting people, nobody accuses you of it.
good reminder that life is a rorscharch test.
Indeed.
They both came off as sincere, credible and firmly believing in their recollection of events, in my opinion. Both testimonies also had some holes and inconsistencies. This is essentially a he-said, she-said (insert objections that other people she says were there don't remember the night in question. Fine, it was 35 years ago and the night doesn't sound all that memorable unless you were almost raped. So I'm not sure what "I don't recall" proves.) Senators don't seem all that in to in any sort of investigation that doesn't feature them grandstanding or that might drag too close to midterms, so it'll be hard to unearth any particular "truth" here. That leaves us with who do you believe, which probably depends on where you're coming from in the first place.
Myself, I don't know. I think it's possible he did it and was so drunk he doesn't remember. I also think it's possible it happened to her but she remembers the wrong guy. Memories are funny things.
One thing I do think is that Kavanaugh's behavior today was unbecoming a Supreme Court justice. He came off as arrogant and entitled and not the least bit empathetic to a woman who clearly endured some serious trauma - whether his doing or not. But I also understand how others might see him as legitimately angry about being wrongly accused, etc. As Syria said, life is a Rorschach test.
Regardless, it's a fuck. All around. We'll see what happens. And then what happens next. God bless America.
I'm sure most of us would stay calm if we were accused of gang rape and the media was complicit in pushing a narrative that we were sexual predators.
He had fire in his eyes. Hopefully the entire process completely radicalized him.
