Can't believe there's not a Stoops on that list. Mark has UK tied for first in the SEC-E and nobody cares about UK football except his staff. If he can win that division, it would be a big resume stuffer especially when UGA and FL are both good again. His staff and roster are loaded with Ohio guys too.

And then there's Bob.

Open the full pic, Big Game Bob is towards the bottom.

I heard yesterday that Urbie was having head-ache or migraines or something. Stress is building and maybe the psychosomatic illnesses are creeping in again. Getting caught lying probably doesn't create stress because he's been doing and dealing with that his entire life (IMO). But getting suspended and getting blown out by 29 when you are a double digit favorite...THAT'S stress! In fighting amongst the coaching staff...that's stress too. When they get blown out by Mich at the end of the year I think it will be over for Urbs.

Then there would be a BK statue outside the stadium the next day. I don't think this year is the year, but crazier things have happened.

Ultimate troll job to all the haters if they make his statue of this...

Maybe Urbie "forgot" that he could use the ole heart condition to bow out gracefully. It worked one time already for him.

All jokes aside, I hope his health is fine. As much as I don't care for him I don't wish bad health on anyone. As far as his team and his coaching staff issues, he gets paid the big bucks to figure it out. If he isn't up to that task anymore he needs to let someone else take over. Who that is would be interesting.

I know I'm in the minority...but I love that pic of BK. He cares, he's passionate, he's getting after it! Wouldn't suggest using it for a LinkedIn photo but it clearly demonstrates that he's emotionally connected to his job. We Irish are not to blame for our ability to go red-face...that's all on genetics or god above. All coaches go ape-shat but only those blessed with Irish ancestry can exhibit such variation in skin tone.

OSU worked on their running game in their bye week. Good idea.
The Buckeyes rushed for fewer than 3.3 yards per carry in each of their last four games. Inside the red zone, the Buckeyes have rushed for a net total of just 12 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in that same span of games. That 3.3 yds average would place them 115th nationally (FBS opponents only). Two of their remaining opponents - Michigan and Michigan State - rank first and third in the conference in rushing defense. Both average giving up less than three yards per carry. Michigan is first in the conference in Pass Defense. Michigan's Defense's Opponent Red Zone Conversions are the fewest attempts (15) in the conference with eleven of those for TDs and three FGs. That includes ND's two attempts that resulted in two TDs.

Paul Finebaum has been routinely saying that Urban Liar will not be at pOSU next year. He thinks it's dejavu Florida and when the pressure gets cranked up on Urban he walks away.

Dave Biddle's thoughts on if Urban Meyer will walk away at the end of the year.
https://247sports.com/Article/Is-this-Urban-Meyers-last-season-with-Ohio-State-124047754/

Will Urban Meyer coach Ohio State after this season? One of the hottest questions in college football only intensified after a loss to Purdue and a bye week for the Buckeyes. From ongoing health issues in the public eye to the aftermath of his suspension and return to the field back in Week 4, the question remains about his future.

Bucknuts on 247Sports editor Dave Biddle asked Meyer directly about it this week. While Meyer responded with an affirmation, doubt remains.

“It’s the billion-dollar question, and I wish I had the answer,” Biddle said. “Right now, I am unsure. But I will say this. If you’d have asked me that question maybe a week ago, I would have said, ‘absolutely he’s going to be Ohio State’s coach in 2019.’ Unless he has some type of health issue or his current health issue would continue to get worse, something like that might be the exception.”

Meyer has been with Ohio State since 2012 with a 77-9 record, two conference titles and the 2014 national title to his name in Columbus. After acting coach Ryan Day led Ohio State to wins over Oregon State, Rutgers and TCU in September, Meyer returned with four straight wins before losing at Purdue with a shocking 49-20 final score.

“When I asked him earlier this week if he wants to respond to all of the rumors out there that he’s going to retire after this year, he said simply, ‘I plan on coaching,’” Biddle said. “I was almost shocked that he didn’t have a more forceful denial. Then I asked him to follow up. Can you say definitively that you’ll be coaching at Ohio State? He said yes. You might take him at his word. Just the way he answered that question gives me some doubts. If you’re a Buckeye fan out there and you’re curious, I think there’s now at least a chance that Urban Meyer is strongly considering walking away after this season. If I had to guess right now, I do think he’ll be back in 2019, but the way he answered the questions earlier this week really gave me pause.”

Ohio State debuted at No. 10 last night in the College Football Playoff rankings. Being further down the initial rankings does not always hurt. In 2014, Ohio State ranked No. 16 in the original CFP ranking before a run to the national title.. The following year, Oklahoma was ranked No. 15 when the first rankings came out and ended up No. 4 and in the Playoff. The Buckeyes, fresh off a bye week, return to action Saturday against Nebraska. Road trips to Michigan State and Maryland then stand between Ohio State and what could be the most meaningful game against Michigan during Meyer’s tenure.

A bit further info on Meyer's arachnoid cyst.
URBAN MEYER OPENS UP ABOUT SEVERE HEADACHES, BUT PLANS TO COACH “AS LONG AS HE CAN” (Eleven Warriors)

Meyer's physician Dr. Andrew Thomas, offered a brief statement on Meyer's condition.

“The past four years we’ve been working closely with coach Meyer to monitor and manage the symptoms that have risen from his enlarged congenital arachnoid cyst,” Thomas said. “This includes aggressive headaches, which have particularly flared up the past two years.”

Meyer has dealt with the cysts since 1998 and underwent brain surgery in 2014.

In 2014, he probably had endoscopic cyst fenestration, a microneurosurgical technique in which the neurosurgeon uses an endoscope to drain the cyst internally. Patients can return home the following day. The Cleveland Clinic would have been the logical choice for the procedure.

His "heart condition" was diagnosed as esophageal spasms in 2010 and treated with medication.

Yeah, I'm sure Herman knew what kind of person Smith was. If he stuck his nose out and aired out dirty laundry, he invited Smith to basically let the skeletons out of his own closet. Could get ugly. Should be entertaining. Urban has certainly surrounded himself with interesting people. I doubt any reporters legitimately reaching out to Smith though, his credibility is shaky and could be damaging for a career.

Urban is probably counting his lucky stars he didn't smear Smith or contribute to that investigation publicly, because when Smith gets drunk and starts Tweeting he doesn't hold back coming after people that took swipes at him.
