Just read on ESPN Zeke Elliot’s father is at the rally supporting Urban.... this is like a movie. Imagine if Tebow came to Columbus in support of Urban.

Is this was a movie, there would be a town hall where right when Urban is about to get fired, Tebow blows through the doors.. The crowd ooos and ahssss, he gets on mic and says this man is the great character of a man I know, second to only jesus.. crowd erupts, Meyer gets to stay, they bro hug roll credits..

Saw a clip of the rally. Curious about how much support Meyer is getting? The crowd if you can call it that, was probably no more than 20-25 people from what I saw. One sign was bashing ESPN! Hell, they were late to the party! lol

I also find it curious that you're not seeing former players come out in large masses to support Meyer.

end credits scene...Urban in an eerily lit laboratory talking to a deranged looking man in a lab coat..."Damn it Vlad, the Tebow-bot nearly killed me with that bro hug. It was way too strong. I thought you said this thing was in perfect working order!"

OH-OhNo

If Buckeye nation wanted to send a message to the OSU prez and put some pressure on him to keep Urban, they just failed miserably.

TFW you're holding a picket sign mocking a sexual assault movement to protect a football coach that is accused of turning a blind eye toward domestic abuse:

For the last two days, Dakich has been railing on the media coverage and how they shouldn't be reporting on this without all of the facts.

Well Dan, you are a part of the media and if you believe this, why do you continue to discuss? lol

While I agree media should be better....Most reporting today is opinion. Media is absolutely short on facts these days. Unless they are from anonymous sources... Dakich needs to take his gig to an OH radio show.

On the topic of media, I watched ESPN mid day yesterday for a few hours (had it on in the background). I normally only watch/listen to Golic/Wingo early in the AM. Almost the entire time was spent talking liberal politics. Pro Lebron, pro kneeling, Anti Trump, then everyone gushing over Jemele Hill winning an AA journalism award. They even went after MJ a little even though he tweeted in support of LBJ. They said he should have gone farther and said bad things about DT...

Very little talk about actual sports at all. Every once in a while I guess I need to refresh my memory why I stopped watching ESPN...

Yep. I feel horrible for the youngsters out here that never saw the real ESPN back in the day. When they started mixing politics with sports I tuned them out except for live game broadcasts.

As far as tOSU and UM... he will be back on the sidelines soon enough. If he proves he elevated the matter to his "boss" then he is home free. His boss not so much. While one can question the morality of a HC and school that keeps an alleged spousal abuser on staff, the school will probably can the AD, donate money to DV organizations, all the while telling themselves they "did the right thing" as they deposit the next big check generated from athletics in to their bank accounts.

Money makes the world go round... not morality.

Never listen to what they say...always watch what they do. Actions versus words.

It’s all fueled by emotions which any journalist worth their salt should avoid when reporting.

Will Cain took over Ryen Russillo’s old time slot on ESPN Radio and he made a fair point. Here’s his podcast link from yesterday’s show where he makes an interesting point in the first segment regarding Trump, LeBron, etc.

I'll give Dakich credit. He's blindly loyal.

I'm listening to Dakich when he has a segment with Mark Boyle the radio play by play guy for the Pacers. Out fo the blue Boyle nails Dakich. To paraphrase............"Dan you're part of the media whether you want to admit it or not. Both of us are part of the media.".

Living in Ohio, I am actually surprised at some of the levelheaded responses I’ve received on the situation. Obviously, you have the loons on social media, but the vast majority of people I’ve actually had a conversation with about this are of the mindset that someone really screwed up. Most are open to that being Meyer, but obviously Prefer for it not to be.

Maryland crap is now taking center stage. Urban Meyer looks like a saint now.
