My bet is that Urban keeps his job based on this, right here, and this alone.

Smith's ex-wife can prove that Shelly Meyer knew, but she can't prove that Shelly told Urban.

Of course she told Urban, we all know that, but that can't be proven as a fact based on what McMurphy has released to this point.

So Urban might skate on plausible deniability, but that means he's letting his own wife take the fall for not passing on the message to him or to the school.

Yeesh.

Which is just as abusive as Zac Smith. Throwing your wife under the bus, so she can be abused on a national Level by the relentless media.

The Moral test Urban faces is moreso this, than the Zac Smith incident. Because Shelley Meyer has no escape route....as an employee of the University she had to report it!

It will be interesting to see if he let's her take the fall. I believe as a registered nurse...she is also obligated to report it. I also wonder if Gene Smith is asking Urbie to hand over his cell phone. Also interesting that ESPN has been so slow to pick up this story.

SDE Noah Potter and WDE/Buck Cade Stover come on in to a position of need. DB Ronnie Hickman & DB Jordan Battle could come in & we could move the most Rover-appropriate guy out of Hickman, Derrik Allen, and Kyle Hamilton over to that spot and have a loaded safety group. Time to go fishing coaches.
