Takes a certain mindset to do that. I agree, it’s wise, but most kids don’t do it. LR can leverage his QB whisperer advantage. USC has always been extraordinarily good at getting and keeping QBs. Even Matt Cassel, never started. Insane.
Chris Rock said it best but people are as only faithful as their options.

Article literally doesn’t say anything about ND being interested again. Nothing about reaching out. Not saying they haven’t, but Loy said last month ND moved on. The Bachmeiers felt slighted and a bridge was burnt. This article just says Bear is interested again.

Didn’t someone on the beat already confirm that ND has several targets in the works, and they aren’t Bear?

Not an Eric Thomas fan but it does seem to imply that ND has made contact if you read it again.

With the increase in scholarship numbers and all the transferring teams really should be taking multiple QBs in each class unless they get a sure thing.

Surprised we haven’t heard more ab the other QB targets. Assume staff is keeping it under wraps, even from beat writers, until they are sure they are 100% out on Deuce.

Not just that but perhaps until the flip is a fait accompli. We have seen the staff get burned before when a visit from a QB committed elsewhere leaks.

turning down UGA for this Stanford program is a move. Guess with the incumbent QB moving on hes guaranteed a starting gig tho

He's also from California and Stanford is a phenomenal school. Just not a great football program at this time

I guess they’ve had a coaching change but why would you portal out of Stanford so quickly?

Hes from California. I'm sorry but what value does a degree from UGA have relative to Stanford outside of the deep South?

I think he feels trapped with the new staff, and he is hoping the portal bears him fruit..but I think he is fishing for too much...
