There is an update from Singer. I’ll be more clear in what I say here, my last update wasn’t the best when it came to clarity.

Singer is saying that Bear didn’t commit this weekend, and that his recruitment is not over.

There is a hope (he didn’t say from who, but it’s got to be from the ND staff) that he will talk it over with his family tonight and may pull the trigger.

Visit went very well.

Sadly commitment means so very little nowadays. More just a hold my spot until something better comes along.

I kinda like CJ Carr saying F-It I just want to commit now and rep this class!

Honestly, as much of a shit show recruiting college QBs is, he might end up being great. The fact is, Deuce or Bear, nobody knows who will be good in 3 years. We are upgrading QB talent. Someone is going to emerge and possibly be a first round pick. I still think Carr will start for 3-4 years. Deuce isn’t waiting around.

If CJ looks anything like he did in the spring game he’s a hell of a lot more accurate than RL. Bear can come in and compete when Angeli and/or Minchey bolt. My guess is Minchey and Carr will battle it out until fall and Angeli will head out.

It was interesting, watching the USC-LSU game last night, how they kept talking up Moss and Nussmeier for sticking around, developing in one program, building relationships with their teammates, and stepping into big-time leading roles that they had earned. It's not the worst idea...

Takes a certain mindset to do that. I agree, it’s wise, but most kids don’t do it. LR can leverage his QB whisperer advantage. USC has always been extraordinarily good at getting and keeping QBs. Even Matt Cassel, never started. Insane.

Does bear know any interested receivers of the high 3 low 4 star varieties say one with size and maybe a second with speed?

Last night they said Moss’ mother was a professor at USC. That might help keep him around for the degree.

Gotta rethink the whole "some guys are fits that will stick around" for ND once Drew Pyne left. At least Buchner was offered a million or so. I heard that something like 30 Power conference starting QBs are transfers this year? Not sure if that was fact checked but it's a gigantic number.

Article literally doesn’t say anything about ND being interested again. Nothing about reaching out. Not saying they haven’t, but Loy said last month ND moved on. The Bachmeiers felt slighted and a bridge was burnt. This article just says Bear is interested again.
