I think he will be. All the recruiting sites are just gushing over him and all of them say he's just getting better and faster.

His senior year might be a monster.

This is really significant as we finally beat OSU (and now with Laurinaitis there) for a top-flight recruit. I'm hoping this is the first of a long streak of wins against OSU who have kind of become an ND rivalry from recruiting (e.g., losing Safeties like Latham to them and now Scott, DL), to who's going to make the final four playoff teams (although that's changing w/ going to 12 teams next year) to good old head-to-head games where there is an almost 20-year streak of losing to them going back to ND and Quinn losing to them in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl game... Hell, that asshole Taylor Decker almost ended Jaylon Smith's career FCOL!. Let's turn this around and start crushing Ohio State and make Ryan Day run for the NFL!

I’d trust Goolsby, a former LB, over Charles Power. I would be annoyed by “analysts” telling me what is good or not unless they competed at my level in a similar category.

I think the staff actually did a really good job with this LB class. All seem to have athletic floors that make them versatile between 2-3 positions but you can easily see growing into their projected linebacker positions.

KVA is a dude, Bodie I think already has great film but will be even better with another year at LB under his belt, and Teddy I am excited to see prove some wrong -- he has tremendous athleticism for a backer.

I literally have written off the services, particularly On3 and 247. They are absolute garbage at their job.

Power is a complete hack, and Ivins is somehow worse than him and has a very well known anti-ND bias. Why 247 made the decision to have their scouting department led by a guy with zero scouting experience is beyond me.

This thread with the roller coaster emoting and hand- wringing would keep behavioral psychologists busy for months.
ND is what ND has always been. A recruiting machine when we're winning. A tough sell when losing. It's losing home games to Marshall and Stanford and nary a major bowl wins since 1993. It isn't because South Bend lacks cosmopolitan charm. It's because it's a lousy place to be when you aren't winning and still have to go to class.

And I continue to be amazed at some of the recruits ND pulls in despite some of the on field play.
