I too watch some of the IB podcasts and agree with your assessment of Driskell and Ryan. I think that Driskell's problem is that he's 'football smarter' than anyone (just ask him) and IF a poster on chat somewhat challenges his views/thought process, then he degrades them with his "superior" football knowledge! Just my take and I take him for what he is!

Is it the consensus that it’s between Oregon and Notre Dame? Is he leaning Oregon or really favoring them? Distance can’t factor in. South Bend really isn’t too much further from Tucson than Eugene.

I don’t think anyone knows for sure.
When everyone was saying ND lead, I don’t think anyone lead.
I’m waiting to see how his OV goes. If he isn’t completely blown away and doesn’t fall in love with the environment at ND then ND isn’t getting him.
Oregon & ND are so different in what they are pitching, it shouldn’t take long to see what he favors.

That’s why I said we should know pretty quick what Rushing is looking for.
His OV to Oregon is like an episode of Cribs where they are just trying to show him how much money they spend.
His OV to ND will be about education, family, faith & his future.

I mean we didn’t know quickly with Bowen. These 5 star recruits have all the leverage and have no incentive to decide quickly, especially if the highest bid continues to rise. They'll always have a spot.

I didn't say it was the only thing that matters. Obviously Bama and Georgia have multiple NC trophy's to wave in front of kids. They also have Nike swag, and new high-end facilities to wave in front of kids. But looking cool, gear, what number you get, all that stuff matters to kids.
