With ZERO additional commitments (and no decommitments), our 2023 class is more or less guaranteed to finish at the very least in the 5-7 range. Not too shabby.

WR's from Texas are another breed I think they usually have more success as eventual NFL guys compared to Cali Kids.

This is one i'm shocked we were able to close, especially following Arch to Texas.

Absolutely insane we have 3 four star WR commits without a QB. Give Chansi a raise.
Recently read an article on Arch. Basically the guy said that if his last name wasn't Manning. He'd be considered a 3* recruit. Now I don't follow recruiting like most. But to those of you who do. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this.

That was from Farrell trying to stir up crap to get attention.
EVERY other scout hammered Farrell for this & said universally he is a top 25 recruit regardless of name.

Line him up in the slot and let him bully linebackers and slot corners.

My favorite pickup on the offensive side of the ball.

I like that the staff is recruiting kids that are more bust proof. Not just going after 5 stars, but high ranked kids that are known as being the hardest workers.

I really don't get it though.

It's based on the fact that people think he is a football genius... because of his name.

He might end up being great, and a true field general at the line like his kin. And I have already argued that it's fine to rate him as a 5-star QB based on his mental potential/genetics.

But his film doesn't show a top-25 recruit.

Driskell and Ryan have been doing a podcast since 1 pm on this kid amongst other things and Driskell talked how the SC offered Jaden an NIL package and he still said yes to our irish. he wouldn't say how much the package deal was

All the elite coaches who have had him workout at their campuses say he is the real deal.
I remember Peyton well coming out of HS & his arm wasn’t as strong as Arch’s & wasn’t as athletic.
Peyton was considered elite because of all the other factors. Arch has those same factors but a stronger arm & more athletic.
The question is whether he can fully develop like Peyton.
