Welcome to the crootin world of “brand building”.

This X 1,000. This is something we should expect to see more and more. Not everyone will do it. But there is "value" in building suspense, gaining followers, gaining engagement. If I were his agent, this is exactly what I would tell him to do.

Side note - Not directing this at Dante, but more of a general thought. I understand the need to have agents given complexities. But holy hell, is there any greater indictment of where we sit as a country where pimping out advising 18-22 year old's on social media hits is an actual profession? I feel like in 30 years there is going to be a documentary about all of this and everyone will look back and wonder "what the hell were they thinking?".

1) they're trying to help Dante build his following
2) they're using Dante as a spy for insider recruiting scoops
