Someone on 247 just pointed out the biggest likely nothing but what if it was something: Dante and Pops both in Under Armour gear

It's one 18 year old. If we don't land him we'll keep fighting. I hope we do, but it's not the end all be all that some make it out to be.
Yes and no. If moore commits he is gonna bring a bunch of high level offensive recruits with him. And we haven’t been known lately for landing high QB recruits. We get moore we could turn into a team that generates too QBs yearly or at least every other year

Depends on if you are serious about winning championships or not. With Moore it would be almost difficult to not land a top 5, potentially top 3 class. Without him, top 10 is still likely but that difference year after year is the difference between a natty or not.

I'm just sayin' he's an 18 year old kid and we're not exactly known for producing or bringing in big time QB talent. Rick Mirer is the last time we had any QB at the next level win an award. Again, while I think it would be awesome if we land him I'm just saying people shouldn't believe that we can only have success if this one particular 18 year old signs. If he does come to ND I think a lot of people would owe Rees an apology too.

I think people would gladly be champing at the bit to apologize to Tommy if he lands Moore.

If Burnt Ends stayed and won a Natty or two, lots of people would take back some of their words and thoughts on him too.

If Kansas State finished the 2012 regular season undefeated, Bayou Brian retires probably 2-3 years ago as a beloved ND coach with a national title. Maybe he comes out of the broadcast booth to coach LSU.

Fucking Baylor.

They were so fun to watch at the time, I was a huge fan. The weekend they upset KSU while ND beat the brakes off Wake Forest was like a party.

Little did we know… Art Briles was the king of scumbags, and KSU losing was a nail in the coffin for a magical season.

(Oregon lost that weekend, too, but idk if ND beats them had they remained unbeaten. They had so much speed, and Chip’s offense still hadn’t been solved really. But KSU… Te’o would have made Collin Klein look like a walk on kicker trying to run the ball from the QB position.)

My North Dakota State Bison rolled into the little apple the following fall and took care of business. Notre Dame would have beat the brakes off K-State.

Knowing what we know now, it would've been a fraud national title, though. What's crazy is we were a tattoo parlor away from playing OSU.

I believe Moore is 16, not 18.
He’s really young for his class & still has another year of HS left.

So many people have all their eggs in the Moore basket, it's kind of scary. This is why I backed out of recruiting a bit.
I agree and it reminds me a lot of the Will Shipley recruitment, thank GOD we landed Diggs and Estime to bolster the RB room in a hurry.

Counterargument, the QB room is in really nice shape right now with Pyne and Buchner each having three years of eligibility and Steve Angeli being a true freshman with 4-5 years. If there is a time to shoot for the moon at the QB position, this is it, and this particular unanimous 5 star is returning the interest.

In summary, if we land Moore, it could be a revolutionary spring-board for Freeman and this staff. If we don't, we can still identify a high floor QB for depth and look to 2024/2025 for the next 5 star. It's a really good position to be in.
