All crystal balls currently ND. Michigan State insiders actually threw down ND crystal balls with the most confidence when compared to everyone else.

Yeah, seems like the kid notified the MSU staff he wasn’t coming and the MSU insider who covered his recruitment ruined the kid’s public announcement by putting in a 9 pick as soon as he found out.
He should have put in like a 6 to make it less obvious.

I think some people forget how much these kids can grow over one summer at that age. I know I went from about 5’6 to over 6’ and gained about 50lbs my freshman year. Then grew a couple more inches and a lot of strength my Sophomore year.

What was your 40 time? Sorry wrong board.

A kid from Miami, huh!? I've been following recruiting for 10 years and I don't think they've landed a Miami kid since I started following.

I'm sure him going to a prep school and having Stanford in his final group says a lot about what he wants in college.

Maybe it's selective memory on my part but I feel like ND has recruited Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area really well and they seem to produce better players than Miami. I am guessing lots of times ND can't even offer a kid from Miami.

"Ruined" may be too strong a word to use. Only a tiny minority of fans even know what a "247 crystal ball" is. We are the lunatic fringe.

Remarkable.

Habla "first Amendment?."

There are 330 million Americans. The number of Americans who follow crystal balls is smaller than that.

Do not major in minors. It will eat at you. You're welcome.

It is June of 2023.

Sedrick Irvin arrives on campus.

He walks into the running back room.

"Hi, I'm Chris Tyree, your captain and the leader of your running back group. this is Logan Diggs, here's Audric Estime and meet Jadarian Price. We want to be the best cadre of running backs in the country and can be because of the guys you'll meet in the next room."

Chris and Sed walk down the hall and Chris knocks and the door opens.

"Sed say Hello to our posse. Those four knuckleddragging cro-magnons in the corner are the best group of four tackles ever assembled here since the Golden days of Frank Leahy. Meet
Blake Fisher
Joe Alt
Tosh Baker
Mike Carmondy

The little guy next to them is Rocco Spindler. As you already know, Sed, we are OLINE U>

They walk farther down the hall.

They see five guys walkling into the room They seem tall, lithe yet thick, lengthy

"Sed, these are our wide receivers.
They do three things:
Stretch (the field)
Catch (the ball)
Block (downfield when we're turning 6 yard runs into 36 yard runs)
Say hi to:

Deon Colzie
Lo (Older Brother) Styles (you'll meet his baby brother later)
Jayden Thomas
C>J> Williams
Tobias Merriweather

Sed is astounded. Wow! they're so big I thought they were tight ends.

Nah, not these shorties. They go next door and meet some large mammals who play tight end:
Kevin Bauman
Mitchell Evans
Cane Berrong
Holden Staes
Scott Raridon

Still gaping, Sedrick Irvin feels a freindly tap on his shoulder.

He turns his head and hears and sees

"Hi, Sed, I'm Tyler Buchner. I'll be handing pitching and throwing the ball to you."

"We;re all glad you're here."

"Our star studded defense thinks they;re the best unit at ND."
"I think they;'re delusional. Let's show them the error of their ways."

GO IRISH!

Watching the Hudl link above, he reminds me of Kyren honestly. Stops on a dime, shifty, good burst, but I'm not sure about his top end speed in comparison...

I agree in general type, which Taylor appears to not shy away from the slightly undersized

We’ve had guys from Broward county without long droughts, Austin being the last. If you’re referring to Dade then yeah idk how far back it is

Prister not super high on him. 4.89 Forty

"For a player listed at 5-foot-10, which likely means he’s shorter, his knee bend can be limited and his pad level is higher than it needs to be for a smaller back. He does not have a consistent inclination to play a physical brand of football"

Congrats to the young man. I'm sure he will only get better, also allows us to chase some bigger fish.

Curious to see how he physically develops. I do not doubt the staff. They have been on top of it in regards to getting in on guys early before they blossom their junior/senior years.

He certainly has some pedigree with his dad that can hopefully be trusted.

It is impressive how national the early class is, without the facts to back it up usually it’s more regional to kick off

Wonder how many of those offers were committable. Tend to agree with Prister that the tape leaves a lot to be desired. Miami and Penn State offered the kid during his Freshman season so maybe he didn't progress the way they expected?

Welcome Sedrick! Nice early get from Taylor. I think RB is at a very enviable position at the present.

Diggs seems like the real deal, Estime is a load, and Price might be one of my favorite backs of the Kelly era. So, adding a guy like Sedrick is a nice piece to the depth chart. And, leaves him open to pursue either unique skillsets or go big game hunting for an elite guy.
