But the length he has, the athletic ability that he has, the speed that he has, and the change of direction mainly — for a guy that's 6-3, 6-4 — it's rare. It's rare for a corner to be able to have that length and that speed, and be able to change direction. So you just want to find out.

If we needed 2 WR's and he was the only one available i still wouldn't take him.

This was the thing in his recruitment. They promised him he’d play WR and gave him some up front NIL (like ~$40k or something IIRC). Everyone told him he was getting played and that he’d get moved to DB. He came back to ND on signing day and was like “I’ll sign with ND but only if you give me $X” and we told him good luck.

Sure enough, what everyone warned him would happen is exactly what happened. Him and CJ Williams really missed a golden opportunity for PT.

This I know. Ding was saying we shouldn't have locked up receiver so early because of Walker. I was just saying he is not a good option for us at receiver.

I remember when Charlie Weis told #1 QB recruit Terrelle Pryor that he’d be moved to WR. That one just took a lot longer to play out.

I don't have numbers on the rest but I've heard Nolen was asking for $1.5MM and got $1.2MM.
