'21 MD CB Ryan Barnes (Notre Dame Early Enrollee)

My understanding was that Boudreaux was considered a bit of an offer chaser, so his list might have overplayed schools' actual interest in him. I have no idea if that applies to Barnes or not of course, just throwing it out there that the offer list isn't the end all be all.

his family has means and he basically was driven/flown all over the country the summers before his junior and senior years attending every camp possible to get offers

Looking at the offer list... a lot of teams that recruit and develop DB talent very well are present.

Clemson, LSU, Georgia, UK, Pitt, and a few others are nice to see when you're talking about a "three star" guy.

It came from the 247 guys, I'm not sure why I put 'imo,' becuase it was their opinion lol. Agree or disagree, that's the literal reason.

Wasn't clear if it was speculation or any real info. Even if true, he's got the size the staff is looking for, he's good at football, and at a huge position of need. Take all day.

Really feeling ND right now. Dad is a UF alum that grew up an ND fan. I think he’s one of the best DB’s on the board, even including previous guys we ‘missed’ on.

I’m with Crus. If somebody told me he was a top 50-75 player I wouldn’t argue.

I still stand by this. If you just turned on his Junior Film and didn’t know where he was ranked beforehand it’s a lot higher than where he ended up.

100% agree with this. I absolutely love his film. And I don’t understand his rankings at all.

FWIW, his competition is not great. The vast majority of prospects in the DMV play for private schools. Those that don't are generally in Northern Virginia public schools. MoCo public schools are not known for football... if you're a good player in MoCo you typically end up at Good Counsel/DeMatha/SJC/Gonzaga. Quince Orchard themselves often has a lot of talent, but they generally don't play schools with a lot of talent.
