So apparently he grew up an ND fan and attended games at ND. Not sure if he lived in Indiana at some point but he's moved around a bit (so not tied to the local school?) and his grandparents have a lake house near Warsaw which is an hour or so from ND.

This is good news as he's legit. He should end up a solid 4*. If the services had him as a 95-97, it wouldn't have surprised me. I don't care what the dropouts have him ranked, he's my long CB this cycle. Now if they can get Duece back on track.

His grandparents live in/on Winona Lake.

I'd be absolutely shocked if he doesn't pick ND.

Really feeling ND right now. Dad is a UF alum that grew up an ND fan. I think he’s one of the best DB’s on the board, even including previous guys we ‘missed’ on.

I’m with Crus. If somebody told me he was a top 50-75 player I wouldn’t argue.

They've got traction. He would have visited ND last weekend if Corona doesn't pop. As far as moving to safety... yeah I hear ya but this guys film says he would be a monster there too. You always hope the 6-2 guy can excel at CB no doubt but it's nice to have the feeling that his floor's through the roof along with his versatility.

It's one of the more confusing rating to me as well. If you don't think he has the speed and agility to play CB then he's a 4 star S. If you think he does, which I do, then I think he's arguably a top 10-15 CB in the country.

He has everything you could possibly want on that offer list, a couple high academics (ND, UVA), plus Clemson, UGA, LSU, PSU, UF, OU, USC, FSU. Only ones missing are OSU and Bama.

I think the camp series would’ve shown him as an elite prospect if he competed in those events this spring and summer. For Mickens to arrive at ND and possibly land Philip Riley and Ryan Barnes would be crazy. To me that’s landing two legit 4* CB’s with the rest of the cycle to maybe try and go after a 3rd Star (Ceyair Wright, see if Deuce Harmon visits, Devin Kirkwood, and Dreyden Norwood has ND in his new top 5 and many other blooming stars). Things are looking up for the CB recruiting IMO.

Yeah man. I look at it like this. If you are a DB and have an LSU, Alabama, Florida and/or an OSU offer you can play. Especially an LSU and/or OSU offer.

Kid has an LSU and Florida offer. Enough said!
